The city of Thunder Bay has done an incredible job developing the waterfront to make it usable for residents and tourists. Lots of walking paths, open spaces, places to sit, ice skating, nice hotel, lots of spaces to park your boat.Great job!

The Marina has been beautifully developed! I can't wait to see what's in store for future development in this area. Definately a must see if you are visiting Thunder Bay. Best view of The Sleeping Giant!! Also, bring a bathing suit if you have young kids.... A great splash pad for them to play in!!

I walked a couple laps around the Marina.There are activities of all sorts going on here. Sailboats, BBQ, Skate Park, Concerts and more.A great place to walk around and enjoy the scenery of the sleeping giant. I could sit there all day if I bring some food with me picnic style. If I didn't have anything to eat, I would still be in walking distance to quite a few top notch restaurants in the area. One of these fine establishments is Bight Restaurant & Bar located in the Delta Hotel located in the Marina park area.If you are new to town, this is a very good starting point to explore the businesses and beauty of the Marina Park

Thunder Bay has an stunning waterfront walkway with great views of Lake Superior and The Sleeping Giant. I was impressed with ceremonial grounds. A lovely walk, even for strollers, wheelchairs or scooters. Lot's of happy people to meet.

Marina is always a great place. My father loves to go see all the boats. He likes to watch the kids at the skate park too, doing all the tricks. Wonderful.

A rare combination of parks, trees, open spaces, docks, and waterfront, with a little bit of everything for everyone - a playground, park and pinic benches, parking spots, sidewalks, and walkways along the lake, boats, an ice-rink cum splash pad and a skateboarding area - even with all these, the place remains amazingly calm and soothing. Love to grab a coffee and enjoy the peaceful view of the sleeping giant lying unbothered.

I think this is the best place in Thunder Bay. Magnificent lake superior view with the sleeping giant. Best place to spent an evening with family here. Even though the lake was little frozen in May but the soothing cold breeze from the lake feels really good. I really enjoyed the evening walk with my family.Lots of parking and portable washrooms.

Wonderful waterfront park with a beautiful view of lake superior and the sleeping giant. Wonderful place to spend a fine evening with family, friends or a date. Walking distance from the downtown , the park has pedestrian and bike tracks through the waterfront.
