Granite Warehouse Inc - Countertops Edmonton

Granite Warehouse Inc. was recommended to us by a neighbor who had work done for them. We approached Granite Warehouse for a quote and found they were reasonably priced. They were able to do the work in a short time frame. We had Granite Warehouse provide and install the new sinks as their prices were inline with box store suppliers. They installed new countertops in kitchen and 3 bathroom counters. They were willing to uninstall the existing countertops if we required, however, we chose to do that ourselves. I would not hesitate to recommend their service as they are willing to work with home owners and any requirements.

Our experience with all the guys at Granite Warehouse was excellent. After going to 9 different places in Edmonton we decided to stop here on our way home to Leduc, and are glad we did. Don’t expect a fancy showroom, but you get to go look at the actual slabs that they have in stock (and they even allow you to take pictures of them). The prices were definitely lower than anything we were quoted in Edmonton (because they don’t need to pay for that fancy showroom). All the Edmonton locations said it would be a week to 10 days from when our kitchen cupboards were in for them to come and do the measuring and then 3-6 weeks for fabrication and installation. We called Ajay on Thursday morning to say we were ready. They came on Saturday afternoon to measure and they installed our countertops the following Friday morning. The installers did an excellent job of getting everything level and the under mount sink fits perfectly. I would highly recommend making the trip to Leduc to check them out.

Price was good and the first steps of ordering went well but we needed a seam in our counter and they made no effort to match it up. And there was one piece of countertop the installers wouldn’t put in…it is a tricky piece that requires putting in on an angle…. they left it on the island for us to deal with. When my husband (who is a farmer, not a granite installer) and my son put the counter top on themselves it was not cut right… was too long for the space so they had to take it off again and I returned it to have it trimmed. Not only did they not deliver it when they said they would but again they didn’t install it and left it on my island for the second time. I’m so frustrated with the whole process it has completely ruined the excitement of getting new countertops. How can a company charge thousands of dollars and then leave a piece to be installed by the customers?! And not one time did we ever get the courtesy of an apology for the inconvenience or the fact that they didn’t measure correctly.

We had exceptional service from the minute we entered the warehouse until the install was complete. We had a giant countertop piece put into our kitchen along with multiple odd-custom shaped pieces. They came to measure within days, and then to our absolute surprise, they were here to install 3 days later. The installers were wonderful and kind and worked very hard to be super careful of our home (and our pets). Very high quality job and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

The staff was wonderful to deal with. They had a great selection of stone to choose from. They were very professional. The turn around time was incredible. The installation crew was professional and respectful.
