When my family purchased a property that included a house that needed *a lot* of work, we spoke with a handful of firms (and seriously considering picking up hammers ourselves). We were lucky enough to find Raymond and quickly felt a natural connection with him as a knowledgable and reliable partner. Over the course of 7 months, he steered us through the unknowns, critical decisions, and away from unimportant distractions. His handle on the industry, relationships with vendors/subs, and overall down-to-earth get-it-done attitude was the keystone for making our project a success. Moving in to our new home was a dream come true, and looking back we couldn’t imagine partnering with anyone else. Not only would we highly recommend him, we’re already discussing additional phases of our project!

We wanted to make our living room larger, but were not sure what we wanted it to look like. Raymond came in and discussed this with us and gave us a design that exceeded our expectations. He gave us the design in late summer of 2019 and it was supposed to start in the spring of 2020 but was delayed by Covid. The old part of our house was torn down and the new part began in late Summer. He faced labor and supply challenges and lots of delays but kept finding solutions. Even though it wasn't done, he made sure it was completed enough so we and our family could use it for the holidays (which was our main reason for building a new larger family room). It was completed by March 2021. We have now decorated it and love it.The view of our house when you come up the drive is awe inspiring. It looks beautiful, It looks like it has always been there and not an addition.Raymond takes pride in the jobs he does and it shows in the quality and attention to detail from early design to finished project. He was always open to our input and didn't mind us saving a few dollars by doing some of the work ourselves.

Our family has been so happy with Raymond and Harmony Design and Build! We needed to update our old tiny kitchen and dining area and gathered quotes from several builders and designers. Raymond was timely, courteous, engaging, and responsive to our needs. And he was the lowest bid by almost 50%.Once Raymond started work, he knew how to guide us smartly when we weren’t certain about how we wanted the kitchen to look. He has excellent taste and vision. And when we were considering an option that may have some kind of pitfall or caveat, Raymond provided useful information for us to consider.I have to tell you, I had *no idea* how much a modern, beautifully renovated kitchen would improve our lives. After the cabinets and lights were installed, my wife and I would just stand in the kitchen and smile. For a pretty long time, too.We had heard horror stories about how long kitchen contractors could take. 4 months, 6 months, sometimes even longer. When Raymond said he would have the kitchen done in about 4-5 weeks I told him I didn’t really believe it! But he delivered. And this was during the historic snowstorm in February of this year (2019).We were so happy that we contracted with Raymond to replace our old covered deck, as well. He just completed that in two weeks and it looks great.We wholeheartedly recommend Raymond and Harmony Design and Build.

Harmony Design and Build remodeled our kitchen and dining room. Raymond and his crew were a pleasure to work with. He was very communicative and punctual. We were very pleased with how detail oriented he was, and he expected the same from his subcontractors. For example, he was very precise with installing our backsplash. We are very pleased with the final results.

Raymond took time to understand our goals for the project. Offered choices when we needed to make decisions about creating the best aging in place kitchen for us. He paid attention to details, the subs he uses were top notch, and we are very satisfied with our new kitchen.

Raymond and his crew remodeled our shower room. They were consistently prompt, helpful, knowledgeable, and quick to see to our every request. Raymond also built for us a yard shed which we dearly love. It's strong, weatherproof, has strong shelving, stores a lot, and looks great! We have a rental property that Raymond has maintained for us. He has repaired siding, put in a driveway, put up a patio awning, replaced a fence, among other things. Raymond is the first person we call when we have a problem or project. He has exceeded our every expectation and has become a friend.

Raymond is a true professional and incredibly easy to work with. We hired him to do a whole house remodel including the exterior and could not be happier. We live in California so all communication was done with phone calls, text messages and pictures. He did a spectacular job and is incredibly honest with excellent customer relation skills. His work quality is fantastic and he had a high bar to pass given that my husband is a licensed contractor and is incredibly picky. He was very impressed with the impeccable work by Raymond and his subs. Raymond treated our house as if it was his own and it showed in his workmanship. He is our contractor for life and we look forward to working with him on our next project.

We needed our decks remodeled, a 2 tier deck in our backyard and our front porch. We wanted to replace the wood decking and railing with composite materials. Originally we hired a contractor who had done some work for us in the past. Big mistake. After parting ways with him we started looking for a new contractor. We connected with Raymond who came out to see what we needed. He showed up on time and walked thru our project. He listened to what we wanted, pointed out work the other contractor had not mentioned that needed to be done to get the results we wanted and thoroughly explained what would be involved for us to get the beautiful decks we expected.We hired Raymond and his crew who showed up when they said they would and got right to work. His main crew members Matthew and Aaron were great people to have on our project. They were both very professional, skilled craftsmen who built decks you would see in a promotional magazine. Raymond handled the other tradesmen that were needed on our project, kept us informed as the project was going and, made sure that we were happy customers when the project was finished. We are extremely pleased with our new kitchen. It's exactly how I envisioned it would be. Raymond and his team are very creative, knowledgeable, easy to work with, timely, great problem solvers (especially with our old kitchen), and have a detailed eye of preciseness and skill. Harmony Design is experienced and trustworthy as well. When we have to do another remodel, we would most definitely use them and recommend them to anyone who asks.

Our home was built in 1993 and the bathroom showed it. Wall to wall carpet, tile vanity, oversized mirror with globe lighting, a soaking tub we never used and a shower stall that was way to small. Harmony Design & Build to the rescue! They removed the tub and created a zero entry shower then made the old shower into a linen closet. Raymond was honest, responsive and very knowledgeable. His initial bid was spot on with minimal changes. Matthew was amazing. He showed up on time, communicated well, and put in a solid days work. Great quality and completed on schedule. We could not have asked for more. We would use Harmony Design & Build again and will recommend them to our friends and family.
