Overseas customer service is horrible. This is Not a one-off chance time; it's been multiple times. After three calls; here and there I finally get someone who is good and does what is needed correctly..but it has become evident to me over the past two weeks, that they have absolutley poor overall client service support. I have literally, on multiple occasions; over this past two weeks combined, lost and wasted over 3 hours of my time trying to get to a team of service personnel who could have and should have resolved the issues with this Freestyle Libre 3 system in under 15 minutes, max. Three times on the past two week, I needed to replace my sensors! This last time, my blood sugar crashed on the Libre 3 app. I immediately took orange juice and waited; it remained low, origially reading 56, 54 etc and I continued to wait; then it lowered even more, to 42..after 20 minutes, so I had more juice and ate food.. it remained low on the meter. I didn;t feel super low, so I tested using the manual finger method. it was 226, so now I did 4 units of insulin. 30 minutes later.. it was of course, 286. This is the 2nd time a seriously bad result in readable tests have happened to me. I've been using this for about 4 months in total. Other times I've had to replace these were: it fell off (once) and it stopped reading, and gave an error message, (3 or 4 times) and one time, I had to change my phone (after 18 hours of use on the sensor) and it would not allow a new phone to work with it; but they did ship a replacement for that.My 2 start review here is based on:- When it works; it is great. Absolutely great. It is SO much better than finger sticking.- It does not work, a LOT. (my opinion, based on the above facts I just stated here).- Incredibly bad poor-spoken, broken English customer service (although we should be called Clients, not customers..as we are life-timers, right?)- The last client" service rep I had actually WAS excellent; and yes

I was trying to talk to someone who is responsible and accountable at Abbott about my challenges with Freestyle products. I have spent almost 2 hours on the phone and no one knew what was going on. The call went from Canada to Philippines and USA and they washed their hands off. The call quality is so bad you cannot hear anything what others were saying. No transparency and no accountability. The companies who are in middle handle these calls have no experience about the products. I guess this is corporate greed. Please don’t buy any products of this company such as Freestyle products. I will find the team in USA (head-office) will send an email and they should know what is going on.

don’t pick up their phones, take weeks to send replacement sensors, I’ve had 2 faulty sensors in a row now and they won’t pick up their phones so I can get a new one. Pathetic.

Freestyle libre is a waste of your time you spend more time on the phone with there customer support to get sensors replaced that just stop working anywhere within the 14 days it should be working ,just off the phone for the third straight day this week to get a sensor replaced that failed within hours of being setup!!! My wife uses Dexcom G6 and I have yet to see her call there support line. Abbott Diabetes your product is a FAIL.

I use the Abbott FREESTYLE LIBRE flash glucose monitoring system. The technology was a god send through my first winter until the summer months arrived. Every time it became hot and humid, the sensor on my arm would fall off. I called Abbott customer service and they had no problem sending me a new sensor. I was told by customer service that any more that fall off, I should call them immediately! THEY RECOMMENDED I USE “CALVILON” TO MAKE THE ADHESIVE STICK BETTER, WHICH I DID. This continued all summer with almost every sensor falling off on humid days. I recently had 2 more sensors fall off within 36 hours. I was now a bit upset because not only was I using up sensors, it takes 60 minutes after installing a new sensor before you can test you sugar levels, which is too long if you have Hypoglycaemic symptoms and need a result. I again called Abbott Customer service and this is where I was SHOCKED! I was told by the customer service agent that “ I HAVE BECOME TOO EXPENSIVE FOR ABBOTT TO SUPPORT ME ANY MORE AND THAT I SHOULD CALL MY DOCTOR AND HAVE THEM RECOMMEND A DIFFERENT COMPANIES PRODUCT”This has left me in a very difficult spot as I have donated all my old testing devices to charities and will now have to go out and purchase all new equipment. THANKS ABBOTT FOR SUPPORTING YOUR PRODUCTS WITH PEOPLE WHO RELY ON YOUR PRODUCT TO STAY ALIVE. YOU JUST PROVED MONEY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN MY LIFE, AND EVERY OTHER DIABETICS LIFE, TO YOU.
