The best retirement place ever

Dolce Vita was my mother’s home for 3 1/2 years. My family’s experience at DV from day one was excellent. Owners Tony & Franca were always professional, helpful, friendly and caring as were all the staff who always treated my mother with dignity and respect as she battled dementia. Their compassionate care lifted a huge burden from my family knowing that mom was safe and cared for as if she was with family.The quaint environment made it a very friendly place. The excellent meals and snacks kept mom healthy to the age of 96. The in-house medical care was so helpful in not having to take mom out to Dr appointments or even some medical screenings. COVID-19 changed everyone’s lives but we always knew mom was safe due the to excellent housekeeping and safety measures in place.The end of life palliative care mom received at DV was beyond comforting for our family and we are forever grateful for their kindness.We knew from the start that we had chosen the perfect retirement home for our mother’s care.

Best place for retirement on Erie street, calm, nice, good care

Today I went to the Dolca Vita Office to speak to Mrs Franca Conciatori, the Manager & Owner, regarding a package, that I had been instructed to pick up, for a former employee. Mrs Franca Conciatori answered the phone, while I was there. While I was standing there, she discussed on the phone, a Dolca Vita Resident's private business concerning belongings, money & mental status of that Resident.As a nurse of 45 year standing, I was appalled at Mrs. Conciatori's unprofessional conduct"

My mom stayed here for a week to recover after her surgery, and it was so helpful to have nurses and staff available any time of day.

I was just at the residence for a rehab program. The staff were helpful and very professional. A pleasure to have been there. Franca and Tony sre caring people! Thankyou

Great retirement home. Exceptional care by the management and staff. Excellent food. The residents health and safety is Dolce Vita's number one priority. There is better place other than home for Mum to be. God Bless the staff for all that they do.

Excellent place!!! My mom was there for a year. Franca, Tony and staff were caring, kind and compassionate to everyone. Residents are treated and cared for like family. I have nothing but praise for Dolce Vita management, staff, food, facilities...all excellent!
