We have a few business sites set up with United Alarm. The alarm systems are consistent and easy to use for staff. While getting a new system installed is very quick (which we appreciate!) it can often take a few weeks for maintenance call bookings before a tech is able to service your site. That being said the techs we've met have always been knowledgeable and friendly.

United alarm has been really helpful for setting up and maintain my business. Gerald who is my account manager is very kind, knowledgeable and almost alway availiable when we needed him. Maintenance service is very quick to schedule, and easy. No suprise in the amount they charge with 100% transparency. I cannot be more satisfied.

Kris P provided top notch customer service. She was always there for me when I needed help and went out of her way to ensure my account was set up successfully. I would recommend United based on her care and professionalism. Thank you Kris!!

I have had a very positive experience with United Alarm. The installer was very helpful, efficient and good at answering my all of my questions. I am impressed with the equipment that was installed compared to some of the other company’s equipment that I looked at. I also found that their monthly rates were competitive and even a little better for equivalent services compared to other companies. The main office has also been very helpful in answering questions and giving support. Overall, I am happy with my decision to go with United Alarm, and happy I found a nice local company here in Calgary to support. #yycstrong

We have been with United Alarm for 5 years now. Their service is great. If an alarm goes off they contact us in a quick manner. Recently 1 of our door sensor stopped working completely, then second door sensor was working and not working and the head unit battery had issue so it was displaying “low battery” after letting united alarm known of the issues the replacement parts were ready the next day for us to go and pick it up. we went to their office to buy the replacement products. While in their office we were treated great. Now I knew how to replace the head unit battery, program the new door sensors myself so we did not need labour. Us being very happy with United Alarm and them wanting to keep our business they offered us a reasonable contract and if we accept then we don’t have to pay for the replacement parts which were not cheap. So we did not mind continuing a 1 year contract with the same monthly fee from a company that we are happy with since we weren’t looking to leave them. Overall very happy how long the remaining sensors and head units been working despite it being 5 years now.

I signed a contract with United Alarm with the knowledge that I would be moving the system as my house was for sale. They told me it was a piece of cake to move the system myself. It wasn't. When I asked them for assistance they wanted me to extend my contract. I felt this was unfair. We did come to an agreement where I would pay for a technician to come and hook the system back up. That was a month ago, I still haven't been contacted to schedule a date and time after I've tried contacting them!I will change my review if they take care of my issue as I think there are some good things that can be said about them.Until then I stand by my review.Updated review, Aug 2ndAs promised I am updating my review.United Alarm has resolved my issue and my system is active again. Thank you!Other than the length of time it took to fix my problem I have and will continue to do business with United Alarm. I did my research before purchasing a home security system and found them as good as any of the major security companies at half the cost. I would recommend United Alarm to anyone and suggest you include them in your options in home security.

Ive had my homes alarmed for 25 years with various co and UA Account Service was terrible & monitoring was consistently inadequate.Cancelled my account after complaing & growing weary of inadequate security & responseStay away from these guys! They falsely deny any reported problems & even sent collections after me . i refused to pay as my alarm services were terrible.They registered a bad debt claim for like a 100$ after i cancelled service. Just a jokeAny responses by UA is just story telling to minimize their neg press. Go with anyone else.

We had a wonderful experience setting up our home alarm system with United. Bob came over and was very patient explaining exactly what we needed to stay safe and protected. 2 days later our installer Darryl was courteous, efficient and thorough at explaining how to use our new system. Overall we had a wonderful experience and highly recommend them!

We have been a customer with United Alarm since we moved into our previous office twelve years ago. We decided to have United Alarm continue to take care of the security need and monitoring for the new office that we just moved in a couple of months ago. We are a happy customer of United Alarm because United Alarm has been working their best to serve us all along. They are responsible. Their staff are all very knowledgeable in each of their field and professional. The new system we have just installed is user-friendly. Furthermore, its price is right. We thank United Alarm for they had helped to make our daily life easier. We would recommend United Alarm if anyone looks for installing an alarm system or security monitoring.

United Alarms has been monitoring my wood shop for a few years. They have shown impeccable response time. The employees over the phone have been kind and always ready to help. I recommend this company for your alarm needs. Hopefully your experience will be as good as mine has been.
