I was extremely excited to finally try this magical spot. Make sure to make a reservation as it tends to get busy, we were not able to get a table. I understand this is not their fault, however we were ready to buy items (a few breads, tartes, macaroons...) to take home from the bakery portion. We were left standing at the counter/cashier and proceeded to be completely ignored by 4 employees behind it, one of them was even on their phone. We were never acknowledged or even told to wait. I find this very sad since this is a hidden gem, it's beautiful inside and their products look amazing. But customer service is at 0% , c'est bien dommage !

If I have enough money, I would come here every morning (or at least on the weekend) to make my morning with the soothing flavor of their coffee and buttery croissant!I tried cafe latte and cappuccino there, I would say that was amazing experience. Particularly 'cafe latte' is my favorite one from this shop (Thanks to the person in the counter who recommended it!)Besides, I tried l'equilibre, tarte citron and Zephyr. I did not like 'Zephyr' as it was too much sugary (If you are sugar fan then must go for it). However, the taste of equilibre and tarte was mindblowing and mouthwatering!

Unbelievably good breakfast in a great atmosphere. We took a drive with the motorcycle from Ontario and after an hour long ride it was great to arrive at a beautiful restaurant. We ordered breakfast and we were not disappointed. Eggs Benedict were amazing and served on homemade breads of various types including one on a bagel. Almost all the breakfasts are served with a generous portion of fresh fruit. The drip coffee is fantastic and they also have a commercial sized espresso machine for a variety of other coffee drinks. Gabrielle our server was pleasant, helped us with our order and was fun to talk to.We met Simon the bright young owner who is very charming. There is a terrace which faces the town's beautifully landscaped park which has a Saturday market and a piano that anyone can play.On a warm sunny day, it's like visiting the south of France and just a short ride from northeastern Ontario.

We were welcomed to the south of France once again by the owner Simon. Happily we were back to meet our wonderful waitress Tanya again after a sunny September drive from Kirkland Lake. Our breakfast was amazing and it was like a gourmet meal along the lines with what we have had in the south of France. I had 'L' Assiette Combinee', a sampling of eggs, ham, locally made sausage and bacon, fresh toasted baguette, as well as generous amounts of fresh fruit. We also ordered the 'Le Rosti' Eggs Benedict, a unique eggs benedict that is made on a potato pattie instead of an English muffin, which also comes with plenty of fruit. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The fresh drip coffee can't be beat as they use a high quality Italian supplier. So if you don't want to spend thousands of dollars to fly to the south of France, just take a short drive to Ryoun and this wonderful restaurant.

Pleasant staff, tasteful decor, good coffee, fresh pastry, a variety of interesting breakfast and lunch options. Don't expect huge (American/Canadian style) plates -- this is a piece of France here!
