Great find. Hidden gem, I’d agree. Beautiful spot where the water surface changed from the kiss of a calm lamb to a feisty roaring 3-foot wavy beast… all in 15 minutes. Hmmm, yum beautiful sexy Lake Superior

An out of the way gem. Perfect for a swim, walk on a sandy peach or picnic. Fair warning, accessing the beach is a challenge for those with mobility impairments (two paths, over the rocks or through the woods).

Beautiful cove that has almost no visitors, a secret gem! Has a washroom, picnic table and very shallow beach.

Carden Cove Beach
Pretty hidden and a drive from the road so it's easy to miss, but it's beautiful and definitely worth a stop if you're driving by. Mostly sand and large red rocks that are pretty but also very slippery, so walk carefully on them.

Beautiful beach! A little tough to get in on the trail but once your on the beach you can walk for miles!

Great shallow, sandy beach. Nice trails near by, that can be quite steep but nice view from the top. Dry off well after swimming though.

It's a fantastic beach. The township has cleaned up the path to the beach making it a lot easier to access. Great for swimming or evening strolls.

This is a wonderful beach to walk on. There are trails to hike as well. It is rustic and pretty. The water is calmer and warmer than open waters of Lake Superior.

Beautiful spot to stop for a picnic. Several picnic tables, great views. Worth the drive in from Marathon.
