Been waiting 4 months for a simple renewal. Travelling out of the country in 16 days. Can't get an appointment anywhere in Quebec. Good thing we are travelling to St John's next week. My appointment for an immediate renewal is made and I will get it done in a more effective province.

Arrive a hour early. When the place opened the line had over 30 people up to the street. Anyway super fast once you're in. I was in and out in 10 minutes when the place opened because I was there a hour before. Just bring snacks and earbuds you'll be good.Edit: If you want a quick passport book a early flight, and you will be able to pick it up the day before your 'flight'.

I mailed my application on November for an urgent travel document. months later and no word, even after many inquiries. Very unfair that travel documents are not given any priority whatsoever! As a permanent residence we are getting treated like 2nd class citizens This is embarrassment to the nation Very racist stuff I don't know how their managers let them do what they do Neglecting services to the Canadian Permanent residents and Refugees Even with urgent reason to travel. Regardless of backlog, this is an unacceptable wait time.

waiting for 3 months to only get a form back saying that I gave them the wrong form. Dear passport office, If I sent you an old passport with a form looking to renew it. Why do I have to fill out the form saying I have to apply for my Canadian passport.I called during the hours they said they worked and was told no one was working. The only really change is that I have an $160 on my card and I still can't visit my friends across the borderUpdate: October 11I tried using their “check my status” application form on their website several times over the span of 3 months. Not once did I receive a single email back. After the increasing frustration I call the phone number that is linked in their Google page. It says “no one is available. Call within our hours”. This would be helpful except I’m calling in their hours. Finally after calling service Canada and then being given a different number I finally got through (sure it only took an hour and a half). Turns out, something was “wrong” with my application again. I’m not sure how long it would’ve taken for them to tell me if I didn’t call. Note to anyone reading DO NOT MAIL IT IN. This centre is useless. I now have to pay to take the photos again and am finally being transferred to a branch. I now have to wait for their call to see if my transfer application is accepted (note, they won’t leave a voicemail and won’t update me any other way).They’ve already charged my card for a passport I don’t have and made me retake my photos again.

My experience in this place was great, for urgent passport, the officer was nice and friendly did her job well no complaints. better to go early.

Went in person (no appointment), waited 30mins.Friendly,organized,and fast.they told me to come back on the 9th to pick up my passport.

Had all my papers and photos ready and it was taken right away at the main desk and my application was submitted in 5mins. Great and fast service
