The staff were friendly and helpful. The bad review is because there was a lineup that took about 25 minutes to get through. And when I got to the front of the line, it turned out my truck size was not available at this location. My email confirmation showed that my pickup location was 355 Weston, but apparently I was supposed to log into my account before pickup in case the location changed? On my account it said 87 Ethel. I would've appreciated an email letting me know the location change from my initial booking because I would never log into my uHaul account unless I thought I needed to book/change something. Everything worked out ok and the staff were helpful. I just think the booking and online system should be better to avoid things like this happening on a move day where it's already stressful and hectic.

Matt gave me incredible service. Really went above and beyond and put a smile on my face with his positivity. The vans to rent are affordable and convenient to pickup for the day!

DON'T GO HERE!!!Terrible customer service. Upon arrival, we had to wait in line for nearly an hour with with only 3 people ahead of us in line! The assisting staff did not know where the keys were kept, the lady at the desk did not know how to use the computer system?? On top of that, there were a few bumbling idiots floating around who all worked there and who all weren't doing anything but bumbling and idioting, not contributing to the management of this establishment whatsoever. They could have not been there and nothing would be different. Throughout the day, we received insistent phone calls to reiterate previously had conversations with different staff.We we're supposed to have the truck until 8pm but apparently that didn't carry over to the new location that our booking was transferred to. While we were loading the truck we received a call and were aggressively told that the truck has to be back by 5pm 5pm 5pm 5pm." I can't remember how many times she said "5pm" we were threatened with being charged extra if we were late. Upon requesting any kind of information on why this was or how much the charge would be

Great experience from this location! I would come here first, way better than 1555 Warden Avenue.

This location is very poorly managed. With only 1 person at the counter and each customer requiring 10-15 minutes to check in. With only 3 people in front of me it took 45 minutes to pick up a vehicle.This location also does not offer customer parking. Customers must park their personal vehicles off the property. So now, before I take could the vehicle, I had to drive my own car 5 minutes away and walk back.The gas meter in the truck was 15% lower than they marked on the rental contract. The employee refused to acknowledge it and told me to fill to the spot on the contract or they would charge me an additional fuel charge fee.I strongly recommend against using this location under any circumstances.

The staff at this location were very pleasant to interact with. The manager" was curt uninterested and downright embarrassing - on her phone

Pretty great experience. The staff were helpful and friendly. The only drawback is there is nowhere to park your own personal vehicle, I had to park on one of the side streets down the road. This added time to the pick-up as I needed to walk back to pick up the rental at the back of the property.

Seems like most U-Haul places are either 1 star or 5 star which is fair considering it all depends on the actual moving day.My experience was decent, as there were no hiccups. Borrowed a small truck, moved, and returned, and no extra charges were incurred. The facility is quite big and they also have storage area for rent.-1 star because it’s hard to get in and out of the actual place as the traffic is crazy around there which means the accessibility is reduced (also account for delay when you return the vehicle).

I was here with a friend last week to discuss options for truck rental and the manager, Tanya, was very disrespectful to my friend and wouldn't look them in the eye or even acknowledge their questions. I am surprised U-Haul Toronto doesn't take more care in quality control with their training and HR practices. Racism is not only detrimental to a business but it's bad for society and we thought we wouldn't experience this in Toronto. We ended up going with a Budget truck rental because their employees treated us with respect.

Customer service always very bad in this location. No one gives the same information about pricing.Staff that did my check in was very rude.The website absolutely does not work, we've tried to make the check out on 2 different phones, worked only when on a the phone with customer service. Trying to connect with wifi, 4G, 5G, the website does not load.Took 30 minutes to pick up, about the same to check out, while it should take max 5 minutes each.Not the first time that I book from there, I don't really have the choice because of the hours I need to pick up the truck, always very bad, never had a fair experience.
