their cookies are ROCK hard, very dissappointing. Felt like they were 5 days old and their not cheap!The sales person didnt seem bothered by the feedback . Not great customer service…. Their Brownies are great though. but stay away from the cookies!

I'm a fan of the pastries by their window display. The best cinnamon roll and hamantaschen I've ever had!

The bread pudding is tasty. The lemon squares were very disappointing - they have a chemical taste and the shortbread tastes like rancid oil. This bakery is not artisanal as it claims - very basic stuff here.

The bake goods are delicious. The service TERRIBLE. One of my favourite items there is the Butterscotch Square’s. When I buy them it’s usually more than one. This particular day I went in to buy four of them but I wanted all middle pieces. The girl behind the counter was only willing to sell me one middle piece and the rest side ends. It wasn’t as if it was fresh out of the oven and it would have taken nothing for her to cut the items that I requested. As a customer whose paying for these bake goods, I should be able to get the items that I’m paying for. It’s unfortunate, that the girl behind the counter would rather lose a sale than fulfill my request. After being loyal customer for years needless to say I won’t be returning. There are plenty of other bakeries in the city that I can take my business to.

I try the butterscotch squares, it was good.A classic old bakery.Update.I bought blueberries scones, apples cake and cookies today. And everything was a disappointment. Maybe just a bad day for the baker , or maybe he is on vacation.I’ll go back in a few weeks .

Excellent desserts, supper friendly and welcoming staff, not too pricey but definitely worth the cost

This is one of the best boulangeries in Montreal. I do not say that lightly. Beyond the amazing pastry selection they have the best quick bites for lunch on the go: delicious pasta salads, mini quiches, and more.

Top notch baked treats, soups, other goodies. Excellent place to have Jewish holiday meals (e.g. Passover) catered with food as good as your Mom used to make

I have ordered a cake from Le Fournil for a special occasion at work and everyone was Amazed how good was the cake. The cake looked nice and tasted good. Thank you Tawn for your amazing work and customer service. I definitely recommend.
