Disappointed with Mainland. I purchased my hot water tank from Lowe’s, which contracts their installations out to Mainland Plumbing. The installer refused to install the hot water tank because of the location in the crawlspace, and left,…….. 4days without hot water I was not happy!I called All-Right Gas & HVAC Services, they were at my house the very next day and installed the hot water tank no problem.

Mainland Plumbing have done a few jobs for me. I was very impressed by their professionalism. Atul, Matthew and other staff have good customer service. Abdul is one of the best plumbers I have met. I highly recommend them. And I have to say that even though they service large companies, no job is too small. Very humble guys, and great work! Thank you

These guys were exceptional! They installed a new sinks and faucets in our kitchen and bath. Very professional, knowledgeable and fast. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality professional plumbers.

Working with Atil & Matt from Mainland was a pleasure. This sink & faucet installation job had several moving parts and multiple unexpected changes but they maintained a professional approach with timely responses throughout the entire process. Not only that, but their quote was about 40% less than several competitors. I would 100% recommend them to friends and family.

recently my hot water tank began leaking. i had called 4 different companies to replace the the tank. mainland was the only company that bothered getting back to me in a reasonable length of time which i appreciate because we had no hot water. chris from mainland was here the next day and got the job done. he did a great job!!!

Great Company to work with! Installed plumbing in three of our DT restaurants on a tight deadline. They continue to service us and our many backflows.lol

I have no experience with their work, but their drivers are dangerous and inconsiderate. I watched one of their drivers hold up an entire lane of traffic with 5 or 6 vehicles of space in front of him, to then swerve into the other lane without signalling and cut off another driver.Edit: At the request of the business, the location of the incident was August 31, 2022 approaching the intersection of Cambie and 4th, sometime between 8:30-9:00AM.

Last week one of their techs parked completely in our driveway for 1.5 hours. My wife couldn’t find the driver, I called the office to receive no reply. I would not use a company that has no regard to the public. Matter was dealt with via other means. Very unprofessional!

Hired Mainland to conduct our renovation, and they were by far our worst decision.Not only did they take THREE full 8-hr days to install an American Standard toilet, they also left it leaking on the second day, knowing full well that it was leaking! Thankfully the unit below ours was also renovating so we didn't have to pay any drywall repairs, but holy wow. Who knowingly leaves a leak?!They also caused 3 other leaks due to not listening to us when we said that our shut off valves were not fully functional and needed to be replaced if the fixtures were being removed, and by not tightening the drainage on our shower enclosure. Thankfully we checked. I ended up installing our kitchen sink & dishwasher myself because we were sick of waiting for them to get things done. When we brought up the leaks that they caused, and we shouldn't have to pay for the time spent repairing the leaks, their service manager's response was leaks are expected."They sent the final invoice 3 months after their "completion" of work

I hired Mainland Plumbing and Heating when I bought an AC unit through Rona. I had to follow up a few times because my invoice had been lost, then when found, it had a few errors. Following this, I had 4 appointments with the installation tech, one of which he didn't show up for, he didn't show up to work apparently, but a call letting me know would have been appreciated, instead I had to call the office when he was an hour late to find out. It took him three appointments over a month to install the unit because he couldn't figure out the right part. As it turned out, he didn't know how to install a Goodman unit, I kid you not, he told me he had to YouTube how to install it. We've used the AC for a few weeks now and the pipes connecting it to our house have frozen over, badly. When we had a tech come out again to fix it he was 2 hours past the approximate appointment window (despite me being told I was his next stop) then had to leave for 2 more hours to get his tools. The only positive has been those in the office are nice. Never would I recommend this company for any AC unit installation, it has been a huge headache, 5 appointments later, I don't have working AC and once it gets working again (today sometime?) I'm just hoping our AC lasts throughout the summer.
