Feb 28 2021 updateI've come back to Sustainable Marine a couple times for curb side pickup during COVID, and now a couple times after in store restrictions were lifted, so this is worth an update.First, I finally have a blue/green chromis in my tank, from SM. It's healthy and has a good appetite, and swimming around the entire tank which was my reason for getting a (relatively) peaceful damsel in the first place.I had also picked up a Hanna ALK tester, which was giving me highly inaccurate info (4.3 DKH, but 8.# on Red Sea and API) I assumed I had somehow fouled my reagent. Took the whole unit in, and Ian ran side by side tests, and got similar results to mine, and sent me off with a new kit. Got home, tested the water, and found it 2.1 lower than my other kits. Took it in, and after getting accurate results was walked through how they were obtained (no syringe tip, meniscus placement). I haven't tested my water yet, but after having my gun shy" fears allayed I'm sure I can get it working.* Original reviewI've been in a couple times over the past few months

I rarely give a bad review. Went here yesterday for the first time, store did not match the pictures (renovations maybe?). Staff gave me I just don't know" when I asked where my order was that I ordered online Monday. Just wanted to know if it shipped because my tracking number doesn't work. Said I have to talk to Ian. Who's Ian? Didn't get any info on him. I was excited to see a local salt water store being newish to the hobby. Walked away disappointed.Update:Monday June 13 I did receive my package today everything I ordered was there."

Unfortunately I have not had a good experience here. The customer service is completely non existent. I have contacted them through social media and telephone to inquire about obtaining products and I am repeatedly ignored for some reason. Even after initial contact where I was assured they would get back to me in a couple of days. I will never bother trying to buy or order anything from here again and will take my business elsewhere.

This place is amazing I’m just starting a new tank and they have been so helpful!!!! Thanks guys I’ll be a customer for a long time. My kids love it here the guys a so friendly. The corals are beautiful and healthy. The fish are really healthy. Cheers!

These guys have healthy, and wide selections of fish. There very helpful and knowledgeable staff and will go through any length to help there customers. I only buy from here and will for life. Thanks Sustainable Marine for what you do, and your helping me along the way.

Just drove out to their new location in Lucan and they were closed when they said they would be open online and the phone doesn't work. Won't be back.

Ian helped me with my new tank build. Saved me from a huge headache and an even bigger blow to my wallet by solving a plumbing problem I had. Great service and nice guy!

Honestly, this place for the short 3 months I've been going has been nothing but amazing, from quality to customer care, top shelf business, top notch products top notch healthy fish! Stellar advice all.the time not rude doesn't try and push a product or sell you, all in all 5 stars plus! Will stay a loyal customer and friend, thanks for the advice of patience in this hobby! That is key!
