High expectations from the Briyani but very disappointed. Ordered from uber. Briyani for 2. Had no taste! The package game me a cut on my finger. So the Briyani was for 2 yet they only sent 1 gulabjamun and 1 curry and 1 raita. Please improve on that as that is very irritating. 2 people wont share 1 gulabjamun.

I ordered gosht biryani. Absolutely delicious and the portion and packaging was amazing. Thanx for the free gulab jamun ❤️however if the potatoes in the biryani could be cooked slightly better , this would make it the best biryani in Canada. Thanx , I will order again

I happened to order the Gosht Biryani from Emperor Biryani. It was the most delicious biryani I have tasted in Toronto. The best part was the perfect balance of rice and gravy and the level of spice. Also, the meat was perfectly cooked and had all the flavors well infused. Unlike other places, the quantity for 1 person was more than sufficient and I ended up eating a little extra due to the taste. Will definitely order again and recommend to friends

Great taste and flavour. The pieces of meat are nicely marinated. First of its kind in Toronto. The packaging adds a special touch to the dish. The menu has good options to cater to everyone’s liking. Definitely a go to place if you are a biryani lover.

Really good presentation and food. The box was beautiful and had some background information on the cuisine. We ordered the chicken Biryani and the vegetarian one. The spice was tasty and good amount of spice. The sandwiches were really good too. Would definitely visit again!

Posting an honest review. Ordered Gosht Kolkata Biryani on 29th Dec through ubereats.Packaging 10/10. Best packaging.Authentic Kolkata Biryani? No way not even close. 2/10Meat amount - 1/10. Got two pieces full of bones. Rice quantity is good. Potato - no taste. Not cooked in dum. Just boiled and added to the so called Biryani.Overall - 4/10. Majority marks scored for packaging. Please do not try. If you want Kolkata Biryani try Baigs grill.Best value for money Biryani is Charminar buckets.Cheers.

I tried the Chicken Biryani and Shami Kebabs today and they were absolutely delicious! The Chicken Biryani was very flavourful and had the perfect level of spice while the kebabs reminded me of back home. I will order again from Empire and highly recommend this place to anyone searching for tasty Indian food.

>>> Very highly recommended hidden gem.We were a group of 7 and we dined lavishly at the downtown apartment of friend who moved to Toronto from Delhi and knows all about Biryani. He lives near the restaurant and did the pick-up.I have to say:>>>> It was more like a feast than a meal...truly memorable! It's pretty much a takeout place, where they are puzzled by walk-ins.PRO TIP:Best to avoid the pricey apps. For best value and experience, order directly from their website and pick it up yourself. Even if you have to pay for an Uber, it's worth it.Like tacos, biryani can mean almost anything. This place does it right and the goat biryani and lamb biryani are truly epic.Everything is beautifully packaged. It's clear the restaurant really cares. Lots of love!!!Prices may seem a tad high, but be aware the portions are huge and many extras are included, including appetizers and some dessert items. So a meal for 3 is enough for 5, for example. You will likely have lots of leftovers if you order a bit generously and don't try to save a few bucks. The spice balance was perfect. You can specify mild, medium, or hot and we went for medium. It was perfect for me..who likes white people hot."Indian food is often ruined by bland spicing to cater to North American taste (or should I say non-taste?) That's not the case here. If you prefer less hot

$32 for the king size Biryani that serves 2 but barely has any meat. Maybe cut down on the unnecessary dry fruits and way too extra packaging, especially when it goes straight into trash 2 mins after receiving the food. Taste wise pretty average too :/
