The Annex Hotel

This hotel is artsy and fun. Fantastic atmosphere and the staff are super friendly. Loved the record player in the room and the groovy vial to spin. Waking up to the stones isn’t so bad. The free breakfast and coffee and fruit was extraordinary I like the gnocchi system locks on the doors everything was absolutely perfect I will only take one point off in total because you didn’t have any drawers to put clothes in there was one tiny closet that would hold a few things if you wanted to hang them up but that is all and it wasn’t quite enough. All in all it’s in a great location and close to everything.

We had a great experience at The Annex Hotel. It has a very unique, welcoming vibe down in the lobby with good music and drinks between the coffee shop and bar. We liked the outdoor patio as a meeting spot to figure out our plans for the night. Great location with tons of bars/restaurants in walking distance. Loved the artwork throughout the building as well. Would stay here again!

We spent one night and it was a wonderful stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful from check in, to the wine bar and then the breakfast bar in the morning. Great hygiene products in the room too. Great vibe to the place. Happy hour was nice and the free coffee and pastry were a nice treat too.

All staff we encountered were helpful and friendly and I appreciated the quick response to any questions or request.Our room was perfect and had everything we needed. It’s minimalist but not sterile or cold, layout is perfect. The bed was insanely comfortable and I was super happy with the Grown Alchemist products in the bathroom.

My stay here felt like a home away from home !! The service is incredible in the cafe and wine bar. The vibe of the hotel is so cool - some hipster / creative vibes that I absolutely loved!! My room was amazing and comfortable. I love the automated check-in system they use because it made everything so easy. I genuinely don’t even want to leave today because of how much I enjoyed staying here. I will definitely be back next time I am in Toronto. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Toronto!

I had a lovely stay at the Annex Hotel. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom and shower were lovely, and the cosmetics provided were great quality (lotion, shampoo etc). I had forgotten my toothbrush so I texted the very friendly concierge and they brought me up a full dental kit immediately. The rooms are chic yet comfy and I love the blackout blinds which allow you to have a great sleep despite being in the middle of the city. The breakfast was also delicious every morning. This is a great stay if you're a business traveller or vacationer - it may not have full family amenities but it's up front about what it is and isn't, so as long as you aren't expecting a classic front desk/babysitting services/etc, you'll have a fabulous stay.

We had an amazing stay. Check-in was smooth and simple, since it was automated without reception, but with communication of building and room access codes beforehand. The room itself was gorgeous and spacious, had an industrial-chic style to it and was full of decorative details and equipped with all possible amenities. The location is perfect, the hotel is surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars and a main subway station is only a 4 minute walk away. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at the Annex! So easy to check-in (no reception so no waiting time), code for the doors so no key to loose or forget!The room was just perfect, huge windows, lots of natural light, super comfortable bed. There is a speaker in the room so you can put on your music. We assume the walls are pretty thick because we tried to hear our music in the hallway but nothing. So, great for our party of 2!Fun neighbourhood with a lot of choices to go eat.We asked for an extension for our check-out and they did it on the house. They even kept our luggage for a few hours.Happiness!

By far the best hotel experience I've ever had. The atmosphere was amazing, the room was really well decorated. It gave a modern look. It was not your typical hotel stay (in the best way possible). It truly felt like home. The location is great - the view, restaurants, parks - just superb. The staff at Annex were friendly & the free breakfast was delightful. If I was to describe my stay at Annex, it would be: immaculate ✨
