Mckab Taxi

I used this service a couple of times and been very happy with the service. Yesterday i had to to Orangeville and driver was very prompt and friendly. We enjoy a great conversation very down to. EarthI will use their taxi service agai and recommend it to anyone. Thank you for your time and service ePrice wise it was very fair

Day drivers are typically friendly and are often on time. I have had a couple issues with the smell/ body odour of a couple drivers, however it is usually okay.Unfortunately the evening dispatcher has a terrible attitude and is rude, especially after I have given them years of service and use the company daily. If their is ever a problem, I am able to contact a different dispatcher named Sandra, and she is always upbeat, pleasant and willing to assist me in anyway possible. It is always a pleasure talking with her.Evening dispatcher recently gave me grief for having to take a different company due to the fact they only had one driver available, and my situation was a critical emergency and I needed a ride as soon as possible. Ridiculous. It was very disappointing.I called EZ taxi and they arrived in less then 5 minutes. I would recommed EZ taxi during the evening/night time.

If i could give a lower rating i would. previously i have had great experiences with mckab. But a couple of weeks ago i called at 3:45 to get a car for 4:15, they said sure no problem. At 4:20 i called asking where my cab was and the lady was extremely rude saying i have someone coming you just need to be patient. they then showed up at 4:40, making me 10 minutes late for my job interview. The driver didn’t say anything when i got in the car just drove me to my location, no apology. When i didn’t tip he gave me a rude look and drove off. I can say confidently i will not be riding with mckab again:\!!

I needed help getting my kid from her bus stop and my car from the shop.Two Uber drivers canceled on me, then just said they couldn't come.Ez Taxi flat out told me no help. My friends were indisposed. I was in a pickle.Ryan juggled his schedule around to make sure my daughter wasn't left out in the rain even though he was clearly running his bum off. I'm happy to have my wheels back, but if I need a ride I'll call them first.The cab was clean. The driver was friendly and I felt safe.Thanks Mckab!

Took a taxi from McKab for the first time tonight and was served by Ryan. I was hesitant at first given the ratings and did try to book with another Taxi service however they were not available at the time I needed a Taxi so I settled for McKab.Ryan, my driver, was a genuinely nice driver who was both sociable and client-oriented. I can't speak on behalf of the entire staff given this was my first time but know that if you get Ryan then you'll have a pleasant experience. In some ways I'm glad the other Taxi service didn't work out.The price was also significantly lower than the Uber alternative (it cost less than half the price of an uber and that includes the tip). I absolutely recommend this service to anyone looking for a cab in Georgetown and I look foreword to using them again in the future.

Guy drove way too fast. He got us there in one piece but he nearly hit a motorcyclist almost immediately. He slammed on the breaks so hard i almost went flying because i was still getting my seat belt on.

Terrible experience! I have been using Mckab for a few months now so I am aware you guys show up late for the time requested. I make sure to call and book a time in advance so I'm not stuck and late for appointments. I called an hour ahead to book a time and the dispatcher told me only 8:55 was available. I took it but it was a close as I can do otherwise I will be late. I called back at 9:02 (which is already past the time where I need to be at my destination) and told the dispatcher I'm still waiting and now I am late. I called in advance so this wouldn't happen to me. She denied that I called in advance and then laughed. I was extremely upset and rushed to get to my destination. Dispatcher said we are very behind schedule.. which to be honest is not my problem at all. I did all the right steps booking this in advance. I asked how much longer it will be and she said 5 minutes. Called back at 9:13 (if you do the math it is not 5 minutes) and couldn't get the dispatcher on the line. Overall, terrible experience 10/10 would NOT recommend and if I could give 0 stars I would.EDIT FOR RESPONSE: I did not ask to be picked up for 8:55. I wanted 8:40 ideally. Dispatcher said only 8:55 is available and I said Ok that is cutting it close but see you at 8:55". Had you said "we aren't sure" I would have called another taxi company. Very displeased with McKab taxi. I have been using McKab for 10 years now, and last week the dispatcher decided to send a cab for myself and one other person(who I didn't know). I gave the dispatcher over an hours notice of what time I needed a cab, and they still managed to be late. The fact that they were late is not what has me so angry. After 10 minutes, I called to double check that my ride was on the way, and I was informed the driver would be picking up two of us. This had me absolutely furious! I do not give daily service for 10 years to ride with a stranger. If the dispatcher had said, Sorry

THIS IS THE WORST TAXI BUSINESS!!!I called last night to get a taxi and on the phone the taxi driver said it would be around 10 dollars total. When I got in the taxi the driver said it would be $35.00 for the ride, i questioned him and told him I should not have to pay that much for a 12km drive, i asked him to turn the meter on multiple times and he refused to do so, he said it was a flat rate which I knew was wrong and they charge by the meter. we argued and he most definitely scammed me. It was already late at night so I just decided to pay the $35.00, I did not get the drivers taxi number or name so unfortunately I do not know who this was, but I DO NOT recommend this place for their very poor services and will never use them again, i feel I have been very much robbed of my money.
