Houston Heights Beach
A quiet beach ideal for families and friend groups. It has free parking and washrooms. Water is nice but gets deep quickly so may not be great for little kids.

It's gone, under water, the whole beach. Update 2022, beach is back. Lots of sand, driftwood, rocks etc. The first 10 to 20 feet is rocks then a nice sandbar.

Love taking the family here. It's nice and peaceful. Not the best beach in the area but more semi-private. It's nice that it has a Pavilion to picnic at and public washrooms.

Love this beach. Very private and beautiful. Has a bathroom as well which is fantastic.Currently the stairs to the beach are broken so you may not be able to get down safely.Gorgeous place to have a picnic, go for a walk/hike, enjoy the beach or take photos.

A nice little beach.Don't listen to google if it tells you its closed. Its just a parking lot with a trail down to the beach. Sin says no parking past 11PM or overnight.Park and walk behind the pavilion and follow the dirt trail until it has a right hook that leads down to the beach.
