Snagged a last-minute table for date night and it was totally worth it. The waiter was attentive and helpful. The food was flavourful and very well prepared. The service was prompt for a very busy night. It was a bit too dimly lit for my preference but that does not take away the great experience that it was

You really come to this place for the rooftop atmosphere, not for the food and definitely not for the service! We had a reservation and it was not kept even though we were well ontime, so we had to wait an hour to be seated. The rooftop has a beautiful decor and a trendy vibe. I found the music a bit loud to have conversations though.The service was terrible! The waitress was yelling at us, giving us attitude. I could tell she was stressed but it was weird and uncalled for. We even found a jug of water to serve ourselves since it took so long to just get water. The food wasn’t terrible, but definitely not of value for the price. It was Ok. Might be a better option to go for a simple drink so you don’t have to have as much disappointment from the dinner service and would enjoy the loud music.Also a nightmare to find parking in that area.

First, the service is amazing! The waiters were ready to answer any questions we had and carefully explained each dish when it came to the table. So helpful as I’m not well versed in Japanese foodI was also celebrating my university graduation, so they gave me and my family a complimentary dessert. It was a very sweet gesture - especially since they had to make 5 tarts!The food was great as well! I recommend the chicken karaage and spicy tuna crispy rice

Really great cocktails and food!The scallop ceviche was so fresh and that soft shell crab roll was surprisingly really good! The udon was tan tan udon had an amazing toasty sesame aroma that really took a simple udon dish to the next level.The cocktails are on the stronger side but I am a fan! Our server was stellar. She was friendly and checked in on our table just enough where I felt like I was being looked after but not hovered.Overall super happy with the dining experience!

Great place, amazing customer service, and even better food. It is always packed and busy, very loud. So if you are not into busy restaurants, maybe it’s not for you. But overall a very good experience.

The food here is excellent. The waygu was mouth watering and the sushi amazing. Had a few other dishes as well (chicken karrage, gyoza, spicy fried chicken) and nothing disappointed. Portions are decent, I’d recommend ordering the rice as a side to anything if you want to be full. Service was great, will definitely be back!

Wonderful restaurant with exquisite and fresh-tasting food. I’ve only been on the rooftop (rather than the main restaurant that is inside) which has a nice view of Old Yorkville Lane. It’s beautiful at night and I had a wonderful birthday dinner with my dad there.**Sometimes there’s a weird, very unpleasant smell on the rooftop in the summer months… something to do with old wood or something?

It was our 1 year anniversary, the waitress offered us 2 glasses of Prosecco which was very great! However the music was way too loud we couldn’t hear each other talking so we had to almost yell… we were seated at a table right next to washroom door so it was way too much traffic passing by our table.We had wagyu carpaccio and scallop ceviche as appetizer, they were excellent except from the part that the juice from ceviche was too sour. We had udon, lobster robata and wagyu steak for main course but the udon was very salty, the other ones were exceptional! In general, it was a decent experience.

I had a wonderful experience photographing a wedding party in the upstairs penthouse/party room this past fall. Not only was the staff here very helpful to my needs but they were right on top of my client & guests asks throughout the night. Everything ran super smooth from start to finish, which is easier said than done (I've experienced so many problematic events over the years).Lastly, the food - my God, the food! SO fresh and delicious. I'm not much of a seafood person but their offerings made a fan out of me. I've included all the food photos I took that evening to give you an idea of the exceptional quality. *chefs kiss*Thanks to everyone who made this night such a enjoyable and stress-free night. I hope to be back again very soon!
