Very thankful I found this clinic! They always take the time to explain everything about my dog’s care. I had a surgery performed on my senior dog that I was very nervous about, they kept me informed during the day and walked me through everything at pickup. Prices are affordable for the excellent care that is provided. Thank you to Dr. Karen Murray, the excellent vet tech and everyone at sunset strip vet clinic! I will be taking all my pets to this vet from now on!

As usual we are always so happy bringing our dogs here. The staff are so kind, go above and beyond, and even check in to see how your animal is doing. They are trustworthy and you can tell they have absolute love for every animal that is brought to their clinic. Tisa and Blue are well taken care of there.

I was trying to buy dog food that they had in stock as we ran out and the product was backordered. As a result my only hope was to find other vet clinics that might still have it in stock. I understand that prescriptions and controlled substances would not be a saleable item to a non client, however dog food is a bit of stretch, especially when it’s not a new product to the dog. I’m not sure what your receptionist told you, but I can assure you there was no verbal abuse or foul language. I only told her that your silly policy was ridiculous and ended the conversation. I was thankfully able to source the food at a vet in Port Elgin. They only had a small bag in stock there but had a big bag in stock at their other clinic further away. They arranged for their staff to drive it up to Port Elgin.That’s what good customer service looks like. You should take note that I’m also not a client there and wasn’t questioned on anything except making sure they were selling me the correct dog food.After reviewing below it looks like Mr. Haug had the exact same issue with your clinic 3 months ago, both with your policy and your rude receptionist. So do you have two wrong customers or one wrong receptionist and policy?

We had amazing after hours. The service was second to none.Dr Laing was great on keeping us updated on what was going on with Lucy.Our home veterinarian was impressed with his work.Lucy is healing well because of the work he did for her that nightOnce again thank you so much

I just love this clinic! We have been treated so well over the last 4+ years.We have a small dog that demands a lot of attention and we feel very supported by each staff member alone they way.We have seen all of doctors there and have only positive things to say.Thanks for everything!

I recently called Sunset Strip Veterinary Clinic and had a very poor experience with their customer service. I am not a client and this is the first time I talked with this company. I called to inquire about a product and was rudely asked if I was a client, to which I responded, “Do I need to be to inquire?” and was told, “That depends.” Which begs me to ask why they would ask in the first place and how they could possibly acquire new clientele with such rude service.Update: I appreciate your response to this. I simply feel that if the receptionist was able to relay this information to me from the beginning in a friendly manner a negative experience could have easily been a positive one. My initial review simply reflects my experience on that specific day. I felt like I was being talked down to and not treated with respect which is why I chose to end the conversation. Customer service is important to me and a key element to great customer service is communication, which is why I do appreciate you following up with me. However, on that particular call, I feel as though the communication was lacking.

We are not regular clients of this vet clinic but after yesterday we certainly will be. Unfortunately our 10 yr old leopard gecko developed a prolapse and there was nothing we could do but try and find a vet who could help us to humanly euthanize him. The entire family was absolutely devastated, which was made 1000 worse when every vet I called in town, including our regular vet refused to help and honestly didn’t seem to care that I had an animal in distress. (I can only assume because it was a gecko and not a dog or cat) That is until I called Sunset vet and spoke to Thea, she was kind, compassionate, caring and was able to get us in just before closing, which is when I called. The staff at Sunset Vet, made a horrible, devastating situation easier to handle with their kindness and caring attitude towards our beloved gecko. From the bottom of our hearts thank you!!!

Kind and caring veterinarians. I've been bringing my pets to this veterinary clinic for over 25 years. Dr. Lang and the staff are very understanding, thoughtful and caring.

Absolutely great staff and vet - this is our first time seeing a vet in the area and were very happy with the service.They were great with our two dogs, had lots of treats and compliments for them and Dr. Murray was fantastic, very thorough, personable, and took her time going over all the details and our concerns.As with any vet visit your wallet is a little lighter afterwards but to be expected.Congrats on 36yrs!
