Lindsay was absolutely amazing on our wedding day. She arrived early and throughout the day ensured we got all of the shots we wanted. She also made us feel incredibly comfortable throughout the entire day. Her photos turned out so stunning and would highly recommend her to anyone in the future.

Lindsay was absolutely amazing!! We hired her back in 2020 when we were originally planning for a 2021 wedding. She was so helpful in shifting our date out when we decided to move our wedding to 2022. From our engagement photos which were gorgeous to our absolutely flawless wedding photos we were always impressed with Lindsay’s professionalism, guidance and ability to make us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She brought a sense of calm on the wedding day which was so so helpful. We are beyond thrilled with the way that our photos turned out and will cherish these memories forever. We hired Lindsay for our wedding and what a dream it was! When my fiancé and I met Lindsay we knew we wanted her to photograph our wedding. We had our engagement session with her September 2020. It was the first time we ever had our photos professionally taken and Lindsay made it so effortless. Lindsay is so easy to be around, she knows how to make you feel comfortable and confident and guides you so professionally to insure you get the best shots and let me tell you she ALWAYS gets those jaw dropping shots! Cue to our wedding October 2021, Lindsay and her colleague Cassandra were the greatest and captured every moment of our day beautifully. Lindsay has an impeccable attention to detail, a great passion for her craft, is incredibly talented and has such a kind heart. We booked Lindsay Sever Photography for our engagement shoot and wedding day photography, and we couldn't have been happier with our decision to work with her. Over a span of two years and two wedding date reschedules due to COVID, Lindsay was always incredibly friendly, professional and responsive. Prior to our engagement shoot, neither my husband nor I had worked with a professional photographer before, and Lindsay's down-to-earth personality and ample photography experience allowed us to feel comfortable in front of the camera, which resulted in very natural, beautiful and effortless photos. We hired Lindsay to photograph our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made! We absolutely love our wedding gallery and we're thrilled to have such beautiful images to help us remember and relive the joy of our wedding day. My husband and I had never done a professional photoshoot before but Lindsay made us both feel completely at ease and comfortable in front of the camera during our engagement shoot and on our wedding day. She helped us pose in a way that felt natural and perfectly captured our day without making the process feel intrusive. I can't recommend Lindsay enough! She was so sweet and made my husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We originally booked with Lindsay in 2020 and she was very accommodating when we had to push our wedding due to COVID. Our engagement shoot and our wedding photos turned out amazing. We had lots of guests tell us after our wedding how great they thought Lindsay was at capturing candid moments throughout the evening. She was an absolute pleasure to work with.

I booked with Lindsay back in 2019 before COVID hit, where we did our engagement shoot with her. I could tell that we were going to work together great right away. Lindsay is very professional and will let you know how to pose properly so the shots turn out, during this process she is also incredibly patient (as myself and my husband are not photogenic people!). When COVID hit, Lindsay quickly responded to all of my emails. When we finally came to terms with what our wedding was going to be, we decided to do two weddings a year apart in hopes that we could have our dream wedding. Lindsay was incredibly considerate and was able to make it to both of our days! We loved working with Lindsay and will definitely be booking her in the future and recommending her to everyone!

Overall Service: We met Lindsay through IG posts when one of my friends hired her for Christmas family photos. We scoped out her portfolio and hired her for our wedding photographer for 2021. Lindsay is professional and approachable. She's friendly and definitely makes photoshoots less intimidating. She was responsive and addressed any concerns we had regarding our photoshoot. She was flexible and provided a comprehensive list of locations we can consider for engagement shoot but was never pushy. She even provided us locations for studios in case weather wasn't favorable. Price was very reasonable and she did not price gouge during the pandemic especially when we were stressing out and had to reschedule our wedding due to lockdowns.I would definitely book Lindsay again for future photo shoots (e.g. wedding anniversary and family shoots).Engagement shoot: We chose the Toronto music garden and loved how the photos turned out. Lindsay gave creative direction on poses and was open to listening to suggestions from us if we wanted to pose a particular way or close-ups of our attire/ring etc.Wedding shoot: Lindsay was punctual and took many photos of the decor and guests. We also took initiative to request Lindsay and her assistant to take some group dinner table photos as well even though we also enjoy the candid photos.Continued Rapport: After the wedding, Lindsay provided us a link for all the digit photos and also sent us a USB of the photos as well. She also kindly printed us a handful of quality wedding photos stored in a beautifully crafted wooden box as a keepsake. We never expected printed photos let alone a keepsake box as we never asked for one or part of our photography package. It was a wonderful and thoughtful surprise to receive in the mail.Recommendation for Lindsay: Thinking back, as a bride, I wished I was able to see a few of the photos captured on the engagement shoot and retake it (as it looked like I didn't have a nice photogenic smile and would have wanted a few retakes). My husband would have also liked some photos taken as he was getting ready and a few photos with his mom (similar to how photos are taken of the bride getting ready and the mom helping her put in jewelry). Consider having an assistant that takes some 'getting ready photos' of the groom (similar to bride getting ready with the parents).Recommendation for clients: take initiative in providing input and suggestion as Lindsay is very open and a great listener. Send Lindsay some poses and theme/formats of how you would like your engagement shoot/wedding shoot to be captured (e.g. more or less photos with the parents or getting ready). Lastly, know your angles and practice smiling so you'll have your best most flattering smile in every photo!

Lindsay is AMAZING! Her photography speaks for itself, it’s absolutely beautiful. I found Lindsay on Instagram when I was beginning to plan our wedding. When I came across her page, I was blown away with the quality of her photos and how stunning they were. When I reached out to Lindsay, she responded quickly and was very professional. She did our engagement photos for us in 2021 (they were so beautiful!) and in 2022, she captured our wedding day. She ensured to capture every little detail from our special day (even details I had forgotten to mention during our follow up call). Her attention to detail is like no other! I cannot say enough good things about Lindsay and her work. We have stunning photos which we will cherish forever and we will definitely be returning clients for all special occasions in the future! Ok, this is a bit long, but I have a lot of nice things to say! The short and sweet version is: It was a genuine delight to have Lindsay photograph our wedding, and if you’re wondering whether you should hire her, the answer is yes!When we first started planning, we knew photos were a priority for us, and we had a clear idea of the style we wanted-- bright, light, and true colour. We searched for about a month, and when I came across Lindsay's Instagram, we knew she was “the one”! We were so thrilled that she was available for our date, and booked her right away (almost two years in advance!)There can be all sorts of bumps in the road during wedding planning, but we never once had to worry about Lindsay. She was always helpful, reliable and communicative when we contacted her.The day of the wedding, I was so grateful for Lindsay. She just has a great vibe. She manages to be cheerful and friendly and make you feel comfortable, while also giving you space to breathe. She was very good at directing us in photos which was very helpful, and communicated very clearly and respectfully with our videographer, who she was working with for the first time.I'm hesitant to mention this, because it's certainly not her job, but our venue coordinator was unexpectedly unavailable the day of our wedding, which resulted in a few things going awry. Lindsay actually moved some plants in the ceremony space herself after it was not done by the venue. Again, not her job at all, and completely unexpected, but I am so, so grateful. The space looked as I had envisioned when I walked down the aisle, and I’m honestly not sure it would have looked that way if Lindsay had not taken charge and done it herself. Just above and beyond.And of course, I have to rave about the actual photos! They turned out beautifully. Just as we had hoped and dreamed. Her photos perfectly captured our light, bright, colourful garden-party inspired wedding. We will cherish them for years to come! Our only problem is choosing which ones to print. She also sent a gorgeous wooden box with some printed images, a USB key and a sweet, thoughtful gift, which was such a nice touch. It’s so important to have such special photos saved in multiple locations, so the USB is such a nice idea!Overall, we can’t recommend Lindsay enough. If we have any other event that we want photographed, we will hire her again and again. Thank you Lindsay!
