Just found out from other professionals that we were taken possibly for a ride. In desperation to help my daughter We spent three thousand dollars on an educational evaluation. Were happy to do it. Seemed really proffesional although most of the work was passed off to a graduate student but the graduate student seemed great so no big deal. For years after we wondered why the school did so little with the report until this when we found out some glaring omissions. It was a labelled just a consultation and contained numbers but no real suggestions for the school. The current professionals were shocked at the price and the lack of information not to mention the fact that an ADHD report could be tacked on for an extra cost. Its not the money its the loss of time and lack of resources we could have been implementing to help our daughter that hurts.
