Modeste Creek Campground
We went out to elevated campground for our daughters birthday. We absolutely loved it. We had the group site as was able to have a ton of room to do things, used the cookhouse to watch a movie and overall enjoyed the beautiful scenery. We look forward to going back again in 2021

We have been camping in Alberta for many many years and can't believe we did not know of this campground. It is amazing. The grounds are clean, staff are extremely friendly and accommodating and there is so much for the kids to do. We are counting down to February when we can start booking for next year. This is truly an elevated camping experience. Thank you for all you do for your guests!

Modeste Creek Campground
Great family campground. Stumbled across it, while looking for new places close by. Only about 1.5 hours drive for us, which is great for weekend trips. The staff are so awesome, and drive around checking on campers, delivering wood or handing out free popcorn! Sites are big, and will taken care of. Still haven't experienced all they have to offer due to covid restrictions, but I can't wait to go back.

Note, previous reviews were when the campground was owned by Elevated Experience Camping. It is now owned by Brazeau County. Lots of open space and fire pits. great for trailers and RVs. However very little shade for tents. It is clean and well maintained. Shelter is large and can fit 5 picnic tables. The children's playground is a bit sparse. Plenty of wood which was sheltered and dry. One newer outhouse with separate men's and women's section. The nearby creek has warning signs of sewage water. I would not venture in.

Elevated was one of our favourite places to camp! Perfect trails in the woods, right close to the river, the best pizza ever , big park and I could go on! Wish there were just more full service lots! This is for sure a place to go with your family!!! Our girls love Elevated experience campground!

Modeste Creek Campground
We had our first camping trip here this past summer, and it was amazing! We enjoyed the delicious pizzas, the kids had fun buying candy from the shop, and the staff are all so friendly! The river access is pretty amazing too. My son went kayaking and my husband was fishing, and I sat on the beach watching them. It was a great weekend, and we will definitely be back in 2021!

Modeste Creek Campground
I had my first glamping experience at this campground. It was awesome! The cabin was amazing and the owner was so friendly and helpful. We were told that if we needed anything just let them know. Later in the evening we ran out of wood, I sent a text and within a short while we had wood delivered with a smile and a chat. Such a great experience. I will be going back this summer!

This was the best camping experience I’ve ever had! The campground is clean and very well kept. Coffee is always on and their Sunday pancake breakfast is delicious and they delivered it hot to our site! This will be our camping site for every holiday we have! Highly recommended!!

Modeste Creek Campground
We discovered this campground in 2019. We camped there three times last year in 2020. It is our favourite place to go now. Close to home with everything we could need. So nice to be on the river. Lots of activities to do if you find the need. Nice people that run it, quick to deliver wood or be of assistance in any way. Great place to stay! We will be back next season!Highly recommend Ellevated Experience (Willy West)!!

Modeste Creek Campground
We stayed at Elevated Experience Camping in August of 2020. Everything was top notch! Our favourite campsite of the summer! We took advantage of the Campers Special grocery box and the meats were delicious! Delivered right to our campsite on arrival! Our 3 and 6 year olds LOVED the gigantic playground! We loved walking the trails each morning and sitting by the river in the afternoon! Not to mention the friendly staff and their cleaning/sanitizing of the campsites after departures!! Can’t wait to be able to book again for next summer!!
