Thanks to Pet Corral! Three year old grandson had a great experience buying his first pet, two goldfish.

I think the staff at this little shop truly love their work. Lots of great information and they are always offering helpful suggestions for our fish care :)

Prices are a little higher but nice quality pet food and accessories

I bought a white tree frog for my daughter and the employees gave advice and helped me purchase all of the accessories that the frog would need. the employees recommended a heat pad and a heat lamp and handed us a 100 watt light bulb to go into the lamp. the frog died a week later and his habitat was melted on the inside and out. I called the manager and she said that they expect their customers to research how to take care of the pets they buy. she did not take responsibility for her employees advice or for the damage that was caused for the misinformation they provided. here I'm left with an upset daughter and a dead frog. the manager offered no help what so ever and pushed all of the blame my way. a 100 watt bulb is too hot for a white tree frog. it turns out you likely don't even need a lamp. make sure you do your own research because they are pretty much useless and they will not help you once they make a mistake and gouge you out of your money.

They are very friendly and helpful. They have many of the top brands of pet fod: Blue Seal, Nutro, etc . They will order in from their West Side store if you need something. Sometimes their cat is loose so mind the door when you're coming or going. These kitties at available for adoption.
