Moon Gate Guest House
We had the best stay at Moongate Guesthouse last weekend! The grounds are expansive and picturesque and we felt at peace as soon as we arrived. We enjoyed the sauna and doing yoga and meditation on the dock along the river. Jenny and Michel are such gracious and hospitable hosts who made us feel so welcome! They also made delicious sourdough bread, granola and jellies which we were able to enjoy. Our vibrations were raised significantly after staying here. Highly recommend this place if you want to disconnect from technology and bustling city life, connect with nature and your trip companion(s), and live timelessly!

Moon Gate Guest House
The accommodations are beautiful, and their property and design of the spaces is inviting and serene. I felt rejuvenated and reconnected with myself after a wonderful 5 night stay and Jenny and Michel are such wonderful hosts and very helpful in giving suggestion on what to explore in the area. Make sure you stick around for pizza night on Fridays! The pizza is amazing!

What a gem! Clean, comfortable- I love looking at all the decor and loved the pieces chosen for this space. Open lay out, lots of space, lots of natural light- definitely will recommend, suggest and plan to come back- one of the highlights for me was the sauna- I felt like I got a lot of healing in thia space

Spent a refreshing weekend at this lovely riverside guesthouse on the prairie. The hosts were generous, the decor delightful, the grounds peaceful, and the sourdough bread delicious.

Jenny and Michel are such great hosts that make you feel at home. Moon Gate is such a special place. We have stayed many times. During the warmer months, on Fridays, you can even order wood fired pizza and other goodies made in their artisanal oven, all made from local ingredients. Delicious!

Just returned from an amazing getaway at the beautiful Moon Gate Guesthouse! We are so lucky that this paradise is just an hour’s drive from Winnipeg!! Jenny and Michel are gracious hosts and Michel is an extraordinary baker. The pizzas were incredibly delicious and his sourdough bread was phenomenal!Everything about Moon Gate is so so special...the view, the facilities, the sauna. I’m feeling rejuvenated. I am already planning a winter getaway!!

This place was a little slice of heaven on our Canada Road trip. Jenny and Michel were fantastic and interesting to talk to. Their retreat center is clean, fresh, and beautiful. Little delights awaited in every space. I hope I can come back again!

Nice, quiet location with the common area overlooking the river. Comfortable rooms. The hosts are accommodating and include some nice touches that made our stay enjoyable, such as the fresh bread and jams.

Moon Gate Guest House
This was a long overdue night away for my husband and I. It was quiet, peaceful and just what we needed. Jenny and Michel are amazing hosts. Definitely planning on spending time at Moongate again!!
