Came in looking for a specific piece of lumber, the guy that helped me was great. He explained what would be best for what I needed, even though his shift was ending he wasn't rushed. Even cut it to the size I needed.

I went to strawberry hills Surrey Home Depot location . The customer service representative name Nigel was helping me. Her service was awesome. It was too hot in the store , she went extra mile to make me comfortable . As her name she is real champion . Keep it up

Although I live in Richmond I like shopping at the Home Depot at Strawberry Hill. The staff there are very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. We were shopping for a 40 gallon gas hot water tank. On the Home Depot website it says Free In House Consultation.Last evening I put all the details and this morning we received an email requesting details and photographs of the hot water tank and they would send us quote. We had to shop for a gas water tank, so went to the store. We saw one we like and we called the person and when she spoke to us she said she would send us a quote. Now at this point we realize that Home Depot does not do the installation, it is a 3rd party. Then she says once the installer comes if we need any electrical out it would be extra. I told her Home Depot advertises Free In Home Consult. Isn't that the reason why a person should come home. She said they don't do that. The quote was ridiculously high and it was consolidated. No break down and the extras would be more. No Thank You. RONA here we come. Proper breakdown and charges etc.

The staff is really friendly at this location. We were offered help by Felix. He is so knowledgable about flooring and the types they are. He answered all of our questions and gave the best advice. Very friendly. We are very impressed with him.

Vik at customer service and the two gentleman outside who helped us get our shed in our SUV: thank you so much for your attentive consideration and help! We had so many roadblocks between getting our Home Depot consumer card activated to fitting the giant shed in our vehicle, and these three guys were there every step of the way to help us get creative and figure out a solution. It’s much appreciated! Take care.

It was almostthe perfect time spent in the store. The website is on point. Found everything I was looking for. What made it not perfect was that the piece of plywood wouldn't fit in my car. I had to do the walk of shame through the store to get a piece of the plywood cut so it would fit in my car. The staff were amazing, and hardly made fun of me when I walked out with my cut pieces. Love this place!!

Yes they do carry lots of items needed around the house. That being said, this place is a total mess. Can't even push your cart in the aisles due to all the clutter. They have disinfectant dispensers but all empty. Smaller items are all over the shelves.No wonder they had a fire last year with everything so disorganized. What's next, a flood?

Doug from Home Depot Surrey is truly a gem! Despite the store's overwhelming selection of patio sets, Doug remained determined and resilient until he found what I was looking for. His commitment to customer service didn't end there - upon visiting again the next day, not only did I receive another amazing experience but also got to thank him personally for his hard work. Companies should strive towards offering employees as devoted and dedicated as Doug in order to provide exceptional experiences like this one.
