We have worked with TIDG over the past five years. Our first project together involved the complete renovation and reconfiguring of our multi-level condo in downtown Toronto. We did not know exactly what we wanted the space to look like, but we described our hope for a living space that would be “beautiful but functional”. TIDG’s design process exists for clients like us who have ideas about what we want but do not know the options that are available to us – and we are two people who have different tastes. Yanic and Jaclyn guided us through every decision, most of which were easy to make because the design plans that were presented to us reflected our many, often conflicting, wants. As the renovation occurred, TIDG’s professionalism in dealing with the management company for our building, our neighbors and the contractors meant that our project proceeded in an orderly manner for everyone impacted by us. We were grateful for Yanic’s and Jaclyn’s collective experience when a few unexpected challenges arose. TIDG presented those challenges to us as opportunities. The renovation turned out more perfect than either of us could have imagined.Subsequent to the renovation, TIDG also guided us through the process of furnishing our condo – helping to master the mix of luxury and practical, both with custom designed pieces and other furniture that is available at retail.After that, we worked with the TIDG team to identify art for the condo. Once again, Yanic and Jaclyn brought ideas to us that we never would have considered. And many of those ideas are now hanging on our walls.After all of those projects, the TIDG team stays in contact with us. When a water leak in another unit caused some damage to our condo, one of our first messages was to Jaclyn requesting her help to “make our home perfect again”. The response was prompt, and we knew that we would be in good, professional hands.
