Superb – that’s how I would describe my two dealings with this organization. The first was in early 2021. I am a senior. We had to move from Hamilton to Ottawa. I called a few businesses in Ottawa for installation of metal railings for the stairs. After talking to them, I decided on the Ottawa Competitive Construction. When I arrived to our new house in Ottawa, they had already done all the needed work and the railings made it easy for me to move in. The job was perfect. In November 2022, we decided that it would be good for me to have railings and handrail all the way from my door, walkway, second set of stairs and to the road. I called on them again. I would have preferred to have them for the upcoming winter but was concerned that I might get them until the spring. I called Ed and explained my situation to him. He came over, took the design and said he would try his best to make me happy. Sure enough, his workers came once again to do the measurements and then on December 2 to install the railings. This was about 15 meters of hand rail. I was impressed with the speed with which they did the job. The hand rail matched the older railings in design and it was, what should I say, perfect.I am not easy to please but Ottawa Competitive Construction made me happy on both the occasions – superb job done on time.

Thank you for your great service. After looking around for a company to repair our damaged wrought iron railings on our deck, OCC was the only company to respond back and could actually do the job. It was completed yesterday and it looks like new again. Very professional. Thanks Eddy!

I am coming back to OCC because in the past they did great work for me. We designed the railings of my front steps together and I found Eddy responsive to my details and very creative, he suggested improvements that at the end made my railings very beautiful! I would like to say a big thank you to Ottawa competitive construction for the excellent job they did in my backyard and the advice that was given to me. I was interested in getting some fence work done and contacted a few companies but what really captured my attention about them is that they have over 20 years of experience and when they came to give us a free estimate I told them exactly what i wanted and they started telling me about other products they carry that is cheaper and actually lasts longer. I ended up going with that and am in love with our new fence and gate. The fact that they took the time to educate me, saved me some money makes me very happy. I have and still would recommend any one I know that’s interested in getting the services they offer.

We had a custom wrought iron railing made for our front steps. Excellent workmanship and installation. We are very pleased with the quality of the job done, and with all communication with the guys in estimating and the installer. We would highly recommend OCC.
