TORCH Pressed Sushi
Wow such a small cute space. Food and service are definitely worth the money. But if picky, I’d suggest the place starts to wash their edamame a bit better. Ps. If you don’t like spicy, make sure to clarify that when ordering!! Spicy salmon is rlly spicy!!

TORCH Pressed Sushi
A bit difficult to find the place as it’s tucked away in the corner of the upper east food club.Got the Salmon Lover and the Tasting Box bentos. Both were packed very nicely, love the presentation however we ordered this as takeout and they did not provide us with any utensils.Torched sushi was delicious but it is really expensive and some of the rice was not put together tightly enough so it was falling apart while being picked up. The hand rolls were tasty but difficult at first to figure out how to get it out of the wrapper.The “spicy salmon bowl” in the salmon lover was our least favourite. Tasted very plain.Overall, good place to try but not that worth it for the price in my opinion.

We had an amazing dinner with blissful taste and cannot resist to go to Google review to share the feeling. Everything is so delicate and delicious and all combine into an excellent dining experience. This is a high-class sushi vendor that you will give you an explosion of flavors with each bite and a feeling of the top-notch quality ingredients. Everything is perfect, even the mustard is amazing and push the dish to another level.Put the sushi with a bit of mustard, ginger and soy sauce on your tongue and slowly chew, all of your senses will awake make you feel so instantly happy. The Spicy Salmon Bowl is also unforgettable. The price is actually fair with such quality and level.The best sushi restaurant in GTA. Highly recommended.

A must try sushi spot. We ordered 2 tasting boxes ($25.99 each). It was amazing, we were stuffed and will be back for more in the future. Highly recommend.The food was delicious and very flavourful. I was so impressed that every detail is / was carefully thought out from the sushi, to the custom card stock bento box, to even the utensils package (it contains a pair of gloves so you can eat sushi the traditional method)! Each sushi piece has unique flavours packed into it. I also loved that the sesame salad (red part) is spicy, this gives it the perfect kit.Important notes for the North York location:- the entrance is on the LEFT (see photo)- torched sushi should be eaten within 15-30 mins max. If you’re doing takeout either eat it in the car or eat inside- there is *open shared seating* available as it is location in a place with shared venues (think mini food court but with only 4-5 shops)

Had an amazing dinner experience at TORCH’s North York location. It’s nestled away in the back of the Upper East Food Club, a food hall of different Asian eateries. It’s a fast casual dining experience where you order at the counter and they bring out the food to you in disposable ware.I got their tasting box combo, which comes with an assortment of their aburi sushi, seaweed salad, edamame, lobster and toro hand rolls, matcha cheesecake, and a soft drink or miso soup. This combo is incredibly good value, portions were large and it was very filling. The quality of both the aburi sushi and hand rolls was top-notch, with ample portions of the assorted fish/seafood. One common complaint about aburi sushi is that it falls apart easily when not made well, that wasn’t an issue here! Definitely recommend this spot for their namesake dish!

TORCH Pressed Sushi
Following social media highly recommendation, here I came. Tried the sushi tasting box, torch press sushi are top-notch, anything you can say is perfect, the presence, flavor, ingredients freshness are just fabulous. But the roll sushi is quite a bit greasy inside with the ingredients I can’t say. Luckily there are two roll sushi separately. Especially love the packaging of roll sushi, read the instructions and you’ll finally make a roll with crispy nori/seaweed. To be honest, a crispy nori really matters for a sushi. We also ordered the fried chicken curry rice and tempura curry rice. Amount of rice is too much small for an adult, curry and rice they are equally the same in volume. And they don’t provide rice refilling, which I can’t agree with. Anyway, food is great from various aspects.

TORCH Pressed Sushi
My go to spot for sushi!! Absolutely LOVE this place. Their torched press sushi is perfectly made and presented every single time. The Wagyu Surf and Turf bowl is oh soo yummy!!!Just fyi - its more of a Take Out spot… The store shares a space with about 3 other restaurants/dessert places resembling a cute hang out cafe. Street parking is available - if you’re lucky!I highly recommend, it will definitely satisfy your sushi cravings!

TORCH Pressed Sushi
Great place for torched pressed sushi. They have set meal boxes so you can try them all. Service is quick and friendly, but not alot of place to sit because it's inside the shared space. Food is great!
