We ordered take out. Ginger and wasabi ( our favourite part) was missing for my 2 rolls , asked to made sure everything for the rolls was there , one packed it the other double checked it . Got a double yes and after eating the chicken it wasn’t fully cooked and gooey inside. My son started eating before me and said it’s so mushie and when I looked it wasn’t fully cooked. Hope he doesn’t get sick, he ate 2 out of the 6 of the $1 pieces and his Bubble tea was wrong paid extra for the aloe , as my son doesn’t like the pearls . Only thing we ate were the small bowl of udon noodles and edamame. So disappointed especially with a long day of work and still have activities my child has around dinner. Why must I ask if it’s correct and then a yes and find out it’s not at all. Home now and the drive there and back 30 mins plus the gas . I have no time or energy . Is it my wrongs for not checking and the chicken , or what’s in the bag?? u don’t know until u bite into it. Last picture is what’s left. Lost our appetite after eating and seeing the chicken. Bubble tea still full , rolls aren’t the same without the condiments. Only thing my son ate were the beans and half the noodles. So disappointing as this cost half of what I made today. Went back to eat the rest and found this in the rice , usual went I go I’m happy but today was a complete fail.

Came in the evening and was very impressed with the service and food,Forgot how much we had ordered but had all of our food within 10-15 minutesMackenzie was our waitress and she took good care of us.Always making sure our cups were full and that the food tasted to our standards.Great service and will 100% be coming back.

Not up to normal standard. Tempura asparagus was only half edible as contained woody stalks, tempura yams not fully cooked and neither had dipping sauce. Very disappointed as normally good quality.

My place to go when we’re carving sushi , it’s so big and organised.The staff are friendly and the price are good.We love the beer there too.

All the food were really good, reasonable price. Small ramen was perfect size after we ate many other dishes!We went to many other Japanese restaurants in Calgary but so far this place is the best!ご馳走様でした✨

Food poisoning alert.I do not usually leave a review but this restaurant is going downhill definitely.Used to a loyal customer here from opening. Have all records from skip the dishes.Ordered for delivery cause it said 30min to get it but took 1 hour and all food was cold.Noodles were all stuck together and soup was cold literally.Chicken also was cold and soggy differently than usual. I ordered the chicken before but it was different today.And now having diarrhea and colic.

From time to time you have an experience at a restaurant that is truly outstanding. Today at Kinjo, was one of those!As always, the food was excellent. What really stood out for me was the level of service that I received. I frankly felt compelled to write this review.David, who greeted me at the door was friendly and attentive. He mentioned (in passing) that my server Tatiana was a really good server. She absolutely did not disappoint!I made a mistake in ordering my favourite soup. Tatiana solved the problem quickly and efficiently despite the fact that the order being wrong was 100% my fault.Additionally, she gave me some other advice on the menu that was spot on! New items that I will absolutely be adding for future visits.As a business owner, I can’t help but feel that this level of service is EXACTLY what makes any business thrive.

I've been a loyal customer of this restaurant for three years, visiting different locations each time I'm in Calgary. The food has always been delicious, but my recent experience left me quite disappointed with the service.I ordered sushi for takeout and was told to wait in the designated area for 10-15 minutes, with the promise that they would call my name when my order was ready. However, I ended up waiting patiently for an additional 25-30 minutes. To make matters worse, some of the staff at the front seemed more interested in their phones than in checking if orders were ready.Feeling let down, I approached the front counter and asked about my order. It turned out that it had been ready for 10-25 minutes without anyone bothering to call me or offer any customer service, despite knowing I had been waiting for quite a while.I hope my feedback helps the restaurant address these service issues and ensures that future customers have a better experience.

Kinjo Sushi & Grill Mahogany
Kinjo is always a safe place to grab Japanese food, their ramen is affordable and their sushi is good but can add up quick. Nice for them to have multiple locations now. Their grab and go menu is always great when you want to save time.
