I just went for the playstructure. But it was fantastic for my daughter. Noticed they had a half court basketball area. Ample outdoor sitting areas and a tennis court it looked like.

Clean and safe environment. Easy to inquire about the center, services/amenities offered, availability and booking(s). Convenient location, centrally located with ample parking including designated disability friendly spots. Fair pricing to accommodate most budgets including use of building amenities (kitchen, bathrooms, coat room/area...). Simply call or email to inquire, usually quick to respond! Center is always clean and in good condition.

Oliver Road Recreation Centre is a well maintained hall available for gatherings and events. Approximately 4000 to 5000 square feet of space with a kitchen/bar access. Outdoor skating rink in back of building and park area in summer. I believe this property is managed by the City of Thunder Bay.

Old school hall, well equipped for renting. Kitchen. Lots of parking (big lot around the back of the building). Entrance is wheelchair accessible, but most of the doors are manual open.

This post is for the rink and not the hall the rink is city run and looked after by city staff good place to go skating.

I was there to vote. The centre worked very well as a polling place with plenty of space and one level parking.
