I bought a 2009 dodge journey from them and it had hight mileage and started to have transmission issues so after a year I went back and bought a 2014 subaru outback with low mileage. But The mirror on the driver's side had a chunk missing out of it and Jason said he would replace it. That never happened back and fourth from the dealer to the body repair shop they use. After 2 months I gave up, I allso had to fix the front bumber as it was falling off again that was supposed to be fixed. I allso had to drive the car for almost 3 weeks without the owner ship as it was still at the auction in Montreal. I removed all Fitzgerald (plate and sticker logo's), After I felt I was being used and given the run around. I love my subaru and will go to a Subaru dealer when it's time for a trade in.It seems once you drive the car off the lot it becomes your problem even if you ask them to fix things before purchasing.Put it all on paper for any repairs you reqwest before you give them your money.Over price for cars that have pre existing conditions.

I have two cars from Fitzgerald. The first one I got almost 3 years ago and was an excellent experience, which made it a no brainer to go back to Fitzgerald when I needed another car. The experience I had, and my family members had, the second time around was so awful if I could give no stars I would.About a month after I got my new car I noticed that the brakes squealed, so I brought it in to my local dealership to get checked out and was told that the brakes had no lubrication and the brake pads were completely worn out. Since i hadn’t driven the car nearly enough to wear out the brakes I called Jason and set up an appointment with their mechanic. When I got back to Cornwall for the appointment, the mechanic took the car for a test drive and said that he heard no noise, and that he assumed the dealership was just trying to “con me.” I also mentioned that the heated seats didn’t work and that the reflective glass on the inside of the door was broken - which I had been told would be fixed for me. They took my car for a few hours, told me they’d call when it was ready and gave me a loaner.The loaner car was absolutely unsafe. It had the gas light on, every light on the dash on, the steering was stiff and in order to engage the brakes I had to slam the pedal down hard maybe a minute before a stop light/sign. At 30 weeks pregnant, I felt unsafe driving the car and texted Jason saying that (he never replied). A few hours went by and I hadn’t received a call about my car, so I phoned Jason and he said “it’s been ready for a while, can you be here in 10min so I can go over the findings with you.” I headed back to Fitzgerald from 2nd street area, and by the time I got there I was told Jason had “just left.” I was pretty annoyed at this point so I just grabbed my car and left.The brakes continued to make noise so I brought it to the dealership and had them fix it. The heated seats still don’t work and the reflective glass is still broken.The costumer service this time around was appalling. I would never recommend anyone get a car from fitzgerald - and I truly regret getting this car from them.

I read through the reviews here and it seems funny to me. I bought a car from them a month ago, and guess what... I had to take it back for a repair. Am I mad?? Not a chance, I called and these guys picked up the phone and told me to come in as soon as I could. They hooked me up with a loaner for the day... was it a mercedez, nope, but it was a car, and it helped me get around, get to my job and do what I had to do for the day. Last night something else happened, and guess what, I called them this morning, they told me to bring it in right away, and they will hook me up with another vehicle to get around for the day. I make no assumptions that when I buy a USED vehicle that it is not going to have any issues. Things happen, sometimes it's things that are unexpected and you can't plan for them. The mechanics do their job getting the car on the road, the sales guys do their job and sell it, now it's up to me (the customer) to let them know if there is an issue. If they are not great at getting back to you over email, call them, I have never had the phone go to voicemail, someone has always picked up. It is a car dealership, they are busy, and they have a million things on the go at all times, do your due diligence as the customer, and they will take care of you!!

I purchased a few vehicles from Fitzgerald and they were ok until I referred a family member. We kept on getting the run around and the finance guy Vernon was apparently never there when we would show up, until the last time where we sat down with him for no more than 5 minutes. We were told by Vernon that he will work on our file and get back to us before the end of the week, but we never heard from him. So we call and were told they are working on it. Over the course of a month he never pulled my partners credit but call and said the bank wants $5000 down in order to finance her. Ok but how does this make sense when her credit was never hit. So we gave up and went somewhere else. This other dealership got us approved by one of the A++ banks within hours and on the road in 2 days even with poor credit.I wouldn't recommend Fitzgerald to anybody after this experience.

Customer service was great however we have had nothing but issues with our van starting 3 days after picking it up. The amount of money we have put into it within just a few short months we could have put towards buying new and not be dealing with constant repairs.Great people. Terrible vehicles.

Service was great in the beginning. However, I have had nothing but problems with my vehicle since purchasing it from them. The amount of money that I had to invest into my escape, it would have been better to buy something newer. Engine light was turned on a week after purchasing it (12/16) and has been constantly on since then, no matter the amount of repairs I keep getting done.Getting in contact with someone through email is always a hassle and I doubt anyone actually checks their emails there. Whomever their receptionist is, always seemed to have attitude whenever you called about questions you may have.

Let me be clear - I do not post reviews very often but this was my experience buying my vehicle...I first made contact with Verne, inquiring about an older vehicle. After discussing this vehicle with friends I decided it wasn't for me. Verne suggested coming to the lot to see what else is available. I ended up driving a 2017 Ford Escape SE and fell in love. The price was amazing, the mileage was extremely low and Verne threw in winter tires on top of everything. He even let me leave my old car there to have Kenny-U-Pull collect it. Verne really went out of his way to help me in whatever way he could. The entire staff that I had contact with, Jason at the front desk, the gentleman who runs the yard (I never got his name), and Verne where all amazing. Excellent customer service. So my advice for any one who is interested in purchasing a vehicle definitely check out what Fitzgerald Motors have to offer before shopping else where, they have surprisingly great deals, ask to speak with Verne :). I am fully impressed with the over all experience and will be going back to see Verne when the time comes for a newer ride.

My husband and I now have a 2010 Toyota Venza and 2015 Honda Pilot from Fitzgerald. We love both our vehicles.Steve, Jason and Vern are great.They always take good care of me when buying a vehicle and after. They help me out when I need it, answer my questions quickly and are great to follow-up. They go (and have gone) above and beyond.Customer service deserves more than 5 stars. I highly recommend going in to see Jason. He sold us both our vehicles, and we are very happy customers.
