Northside General Hospital

Well People gotta Realize that this is a Very Old Hospital.. But that's No Excuse for them only doing the Bare Minimal of Work up there.. They do just Enough of Work Each Year to Keep it Open.. & for us on The North Side this is is the only Hospital we've got & we need it.. And another thing that's Terrible is that you could have a Hang Nail or a Broken Arm but if they know the Person with The Hang Nail there being treated First & that shouldn't be it wasn't always like that.. But Now it seems like Emergency is Being Ran Like Junior High School a who knows who.. And the Average wait Time is 6 to 8 Maybe 9 hours doesn't matter how Busy.. And I am not the only One who thinks this or seen it but I'm probably the only one who will Write the Truth about the going on's... P.S. I was Born Here in 1986" LoL.."

I have to share my experience about this hospital because the professionalism, caring and great personality of the nurses were exceptional. They provided excellent service, explained clearly all the explanation for my day surgery and were very accommodating! The doctor said hello but not much more, wasn't very talkative but I'm sure it's because he had a busy schedule. I was given anesthetic, surgery went well. After surgery in the recovery room, nurses were just as kind, because I was weak, they brought me a gluten free muffin and decaf tea to eat before I left. It was my first time at this hospital and I have to say the hospital was very clean. People from North Sydney are very fortunate to have this hospital! I Would certainly recommend this hospital!!!

Had Blood Work" yesterday & they are all so Nice up there. . . ."

Quite fast compared to some other hospitals locally. Bloodwork can take from 20-60 minutes to get through. When going for EKG's it is walk in and we've never waited. Staff are always professional and are good with children. No complaints.

Went to the clinic twice since it opened and referred family there and had great treatment both times. I have to put it out there that Dr. Salah is a fantastic doctor. They're all amazing staff there and you don’t have to wait there long to be called in for your appt I’m so very thankful to have this clinic on the northside and I’m sure everyone would agree.

They rarely help me out. The ER is rarely open. I legit cried in the waiting room for hours because I needed to see a mental health worker but had to wait until they reopened. I had no where else to go. No car. No friends to call for a drive. The security peered over at me balling my eyes out every so often but not once did the guard approach me to offer aid.

As a patient recently arrived from Alberta ( living there was the lowest point of my Life) I was amazed at the quality of care I received from my doctors and nurses. If a one month hospital stay could be described as a wonderful experience, then my stay was just that. Kudos to the medical professionals who gave this refugee from Alberta, amazing support and returned me to good health. My heartfelt thanks.

My Aunt went to this clinic yesterday and waited 4 hours and she seen a nurse who told her that she needed an antibiotic. Didn’t give her anything as their wasn’t a Doctor there. There were a lot of people waiting to see someone and to wait all that time and nothing was done for her. What is the sense of having this clinic if there isn’t a Doctor available to help patients and a nurse that just gives out appointments for another day? Waste of time! The health system is getting worse and this was suppose to assist people but it is just another failure.
