Four Points by Sheraton Halifax

Good hotel, great location. It was clean, staff were friendly, and the room was quiet. Our room faced internal to the courtyard, so no street noise. My only suggestion to the hotel itself is to provide more towel hooks in the bathroom, especially near the shower itself. Otherwise, the room was well appointed, a tiny bit dated, but clean. Location was central to a lot of things, and just two blocks from the harbour boardwalk, and walkable to most things in the downtown area. Parking is $35 per night.

Convenient location downtown but rooms are showing their age. Can hear some street noise from the rooms. Staff are great and there is a complimentary beverage station in the lobby in the mornings with hot coffee and tea.Hotel restaurant just opened (Latitude 44) but it's not intuitive to get to - you need to go to the fourth floor and through the hotel rooms and then through a hallway. Easier to access the restaurant from the Maritime Centre entrance off Barrington.

Booked a junior suite with partial water view.Bedroom space was too small, bed and pillows too soft. Breakfast is grab-n-go style only as there’s no in-house resto: we got individually packed muffins, yogurt, bottled juice, bland coffee.Appreciate the bottled waters, 2 big screen TVs, door separating the bedroom and the living room, nice and spacious bathtub/bathroom. Friendly front desk. Nice pool. Allowed us to check-in early.Overall: 4 stars. Food is average if not “meh”. If there’s hot buffet breakfast, 5 stars.

Only issue we had during our stay was the shower didn't have a ton of pressure. Other then that the room was super clean and staff were super nice and funny. Thank you for the experience.

The staff at this hotel is very nice. They are very approachable. As a person coming from Ontario, I feel being welcomed. The housekeeping person named Isabella is very nice. The front desk is available for check-in 24 hours a day.As a Marriot silver member, the manager did not ask me for comments this time. So, I have to put it here.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location and the staff at the front desk. My room was dirty- hair in the sink and tub, old coffee pod still in coffee maker and rocks all over the carpet. The room was very dark and dingy. This hotel is incredibly outdated and surprised to see it is part of the Marriott chain as the quality is lacking. Overpriced for what you get. Will not stay here again in the future.

Great Hotel ,great location. I find all of the staff all of the time at this location very very friendly and personable they go out of their way to make sure you are having a good stay. Recently stayed there for a couple nights one of them was New year's with my young son. And it was exceptional as always.We stay here quite a bit. Like I said before the location is perfect.. and for some reason everyone that works there from the front desk to housekeeping seem so happy so nice and friendly ,you don't get at a lot of places. Which in return makes you have a better experience obviously.. highly recommended.. beautiful hotel,beautiful staff, beautiful location, a very short walk to nearly everything...Will definitely be back.

Check in for the hotel is at 3pm we arrived just after 3:30 and the desk was very helpful until we were given our room keys then had them taken away by another staff member (Brianna) and told we weren’t aloud to have that room as it was on hold for someone else who hadn’t arrived. We were then made to wait for close to an hour in the lobby well another room was “cleaned”. Once we were in the room the room was quite clearly not cleaned the whirlpool tub had hair in it the floor was covered in crumbs and the bed looked like it was made by a toddler. Over all terrible experience at this hotel and would never rebook

Excellently placed hotel to explore Halifax. Near the waterfront boardwalk and eating places, also the maritime museum and the harbour ferries. Very comfortable room with exceptional staff, always ready to help. No restaurant but ' to go bag' available for breakfast.
