Chingari Indian Restaurant
I was happy to see another restaurant opening close to my place, tried few things and nothing met my expectations. Food wasn’t flavorful, naans were too doughy, kulcha was disgusting, you can’t even say it’s a kulcha by looking at it. Samosa had a runny and tasteless filling, it wasn’t fresh. Same issue with Paneer makhani, it was just tomato paste with hard pieces of paneer. I ended up throwing $52 worth of food. They should hire a proper chef if they are serious about business. I am leaving an extra star for the hospitality.

Amazing taste! And superb service.Amazing authentic Indian cuisine! Went over the weekend with a big group of 15 people. The food was absolutely delicious.The daal tadka was one of the best I've had. The chole was tasty. We also ordered a couple paneer dishes which were amazing. And the chicken kebab was juicy!The owner and his wife were pleasant to talk to. You can tell they actually care.Thank you for the great time and food. This was my father in laws 6th time eating there in just a couple months. I can now see why he's come back so many times!

There is a new Indian restaurant in Whitby and we happened to try it on day 2 of its opening.Ufff, the taste just blew our mind. Everything that we ordered was a jackpot.The chicken kebabs were juicy,soft and perfectly marinated.But, the dish that truly touched our soul was their chicken kadhai. I have never tasted anything like this in entire Toronto. We could tell that the spices were freshly prepared and the taste was an authentic dhaba style chicken kadhai which is how we like to eat back in India.And finally we ordered their rice kheer and gulab jamun, which was a scene stealer too.It was a perfect place for us family of 4 to enjoy our meal.Back in the car we already started discussing on whether we should try their indo Chinese or goan/amritsari fish curry next...lolWe will definitely keep coming back for more !

There are a lot of new Indian restaurants popping up in Whitby which is great however, after trying the food and making friends with the new owner, we are making Chingari our new local. Main reason food is amazing, they actually listen to our taste levels and remember it whenever we call or go in. Thank you.

Chingari Indian Restaurant
Chingari is the latest addition to Whitby. Only a month in the business, already making it’s name among the best Indian cuisine restaurants in Whitby. Place is nice and cozy. Best part is the food. We have tried lamb shank with jafrani pilaf and Chingari chicken kadai. Lamb was deliciously marinated and super soft. Chicken kadai was brilliantly spicy. I have to mention specifically their butter naan, that was amazingly crunchy. Every dish was prepared fresh. A delight for food lovers. Can’t wait to dine in again.

First time buying a dish here I ordered a navratan korma their website says vegetables and paneer in a cashew nut sauce . The vegetables were very little and the sauce was heavy and made me sick . I hate when people rob you of your hard earned dollars and give you garbage. I will never patronize these fakes again!

Ordered the food on uber eats and did not liked it at all. The quantity was very less and food had no taste and smelled stale. Done with them.

Chingari Indian Restaurant
I ordered from here using Uber eats. I ordered Mutton Rogan Josh, chicken tikka, butter naan and tandoori roti. Mutton rogan josh and chicken tikka taste was good. Butter naan was ok but I don’t like tandoori roti. Price was reasonable and quantity was good. I will order again.

Visited Chingari for the first time tonight and really enjoyed it. My wife and I tried a variety of dishes and they were fantastic! Service is also lovely and the owner is extremely helpful in navigating the menu if there are dietary concerns.I would specifically call out their Chingari Chicken Curry. It’s superb!

Chingari Indian Restaurant
This was our first time enjoying dinner at Chingari and we were very satisfied. We were greeted by friendly staff who was also willing to answer and explain any questions we had. We tried a delicious shot of mango followed by a few appetizers that made our mouth water before we even tasted it and our meal that did not disappoint. Every bite was delicious, the garlic nann bread was perfect and then we had a sweet surprise at the end. The atmosphere was clean, staff were very helpful and friendly, music was modern with a twist that was so enjoyable to listen to.We will absolutely be back, supporting this tasty new business.
