It was my first visit there as I just moved from Ontario. I was able to get in fairly quickly for an appointment, just over a month. My Chihuahua has dental issues & was very pleased to hear they'll perform the dental procedures in June & at a very reasonable price. I was also able to arrange to have my other dog neutered in June. Friendly staff with very little wait time. Will update again in June after surgeries.

Fantastic customer service!Even when they were totally booked up, Joanne's patience in explaining the wait, and acceptance of new patients was superb. Thank you for keeping the HUMAN in a vet clinic, I appreciate the kindness in such a busy hateful time.

Dr. Henderson provided excellent care to our puppy who was in for vaccinations. Wait time was minimal, flow of pets through the facility was very efficient. Staff was very reassuring and informative throughout the entire process. Strait Veterinary Hospital even arranged to transmit the pet records to our regular vet. An excellent visit and would definitely drive the 2 hours again for this awesome level of service.

Absolutely satisfied with the care our cat was given when he was sick. They even gave us a follow up call to check on his progress. I know that vets are overworked but it meant a lot to us to have such excellent care when it was needed

Best animal hospital in town!They always take great care of my dogs and answer all of my questions over the phone. We had an emergency with our puppy this winter and had to drive to Baddeck in the night, but Dr Donna was an amazing emergency vet and saved our Luna. They have done spay surgery with both our dogs, as well as a hernia repair. Very caring doctors and treat your pets with kindness. Thank you strait vet!
