Suit Lady

Top notch. Before I moved to BC, I ordered my suits online from various top American/Canadian suit designers and nothing ever fit quite right or complimented my structure. I have purchased six custom bikinis over the last 4 years, all very different styles and all amazing fit and quality. These ladies take their craft very seriously and are as invested in your vision as you are. My coaches (Darren & Lara Toma of custombuilt.ca) exclusively recommend Suit Lady to our team of national and ifbb pro competitors, as most times when someone strays, they end up with an ill-fitting suit, and end up at the suit lady a week out scrounging for a rental suit to wear.

Purchased a custom suit from them, they mailed it to me as I lived a province away. Everything was PERFECT. It's worth travelling to get a suit from them!!! Perfect fit, they worked with my budget, tailored the suit specifically to me and how my size would change coming into competition, great customer service, the suit is spectacular quality and very well made. <3 Worth every penny!

As a first time competitor I am so thrilled I chose the suit lady to make my first suit. Very detail orientated and my suit vision came to life!! I also had an emergency with needing second bottoms and she made me and delivered me a custom made and perfectly stoned pair in less than 2 weeks literally saving my bum and allowing me to compete!! I can't wait to order my coming suits from her.10/10 service can't recommend enough.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Suitlady for my competition posing suits for the past 12 years. They have always provided me with the best care and with the most beautiful suits possible. The quality and fit of their suits is top notch. And now that they are making leggings I can't keep myself from visiting their store to see what new patterns they carry. Despite the long drive, this place has an amazing selection of suits for bodybuilding competitors, as well as regular swimsuits. Tracey and Colleen are very friendly, and I seem to go with the first suit they suggest.

I would not recommend the Suit Lady based off of lack of customer care. Suit Lady fell short of standards. I'm just going to write facts. When I got to their business there was only two suits left for my class. One was for girls with implants and one without. She had me try on the one without and insisted it was perfect, and it did look good on me, from what I could see. They said that they would stick around until after the competition so that people could return the suits without the ordeal of mailing it which was nice since I live out of town. When I checked in at Nationals I was turned down immediately, the women there said that there was no way I should have been rented the suit in the first place because it didn't cover even 1/4 of my butt. 275$ down the drain. Another girl couldn't use her suit and I lent her the Suit Lady one for 150$, at least I wouldn't be out completely. At Nationals I stopped by the booth which had no customers at it since it was prior to the show. I told them that my suit didn't pass and that the people inspecting it said that I shouldn't have been rented the suit in the first place. They simply said that that kind of thing happened. I was not offered any kind of compensation or way out. I told them I'd return the suit after the show and they said they'd be there. The girl I lent the suit to was almost the last class on stage. I got the suit from her and went to the tables and Suit Lady was not there even though the show was still going on. Annoying. When I went to go return it the next day I realized it was in my sister's car who was already a province away and also lives in a different city then me. She was going to come visit me the week after and I could get the suit from her but that did not work out and I asked her to send the suit for me. The phone rings and a disgruntled lady calls and berates me. I definitely would have thought that they would treat customers who drop almost $300 on a suit they can't wear better. I explained exactly what I wrote here to her and I got excuses and snark comments, no apologies. As well as a threat of sending the claim to collections. A company who cared about clients would have offered some sort of compensation, I don’t even get my damage deposit back since it’s been longer than a week. I would not recommend based off of lack of customer care.

Staff knows their stuff about competition standards, are honest and up front about pricing and working within your budget, and will do all they can to make you look your best.
