A very average Hakka restaurant on Gerrard Street where quality of food really needs lot more attention. I will certainly not go for a second time because fir one chicken was not well cooked or overcooked for something resembling to drumstick and despite clearly mentioning medium chillis the Chillis were uncontrollable. Interior is too dreary and worn out and does not give you a sense of sitting with comfort while there is no air conditioning and you are lucky if you get a fan spared for you. Sorry bro work on the menu and the overall outlook.

I visited this place on Friday. It was a clean restaurant to enjoy my dinner with my little kids. I like this place. Good customer service and tasty food. They have high chairs also for little ones. I forgot to take the picture of Momo ( dumplings), that was an awesome dish.

We went for a family dinner last Monday after a very long time and tried many different options on the menu. My favorite appetite was lollipop chicken and Chicken 65. Hot n Spicy soup was a bit too spicy for my palette but I mixed it with chicken corn soup to bring to me heat level.The staff was very courteous and friendly.

Technically my rating is 3.5 stars. The portions are good and affordable pricing for sure but i found the fried noodles to be not enough flavour, very spicy and the spring rolls were quite small and seemed like the ones you get in bulk in the frozen aisle which is fine but for the price I would have expected more.

We order from this place often through Ubereats. The past 2 days the food was not as expected. They missed order notes. We clearly asked for schezwan sauce which comes with a usual order of lollipops. It wasn’t sent on both days and we had to eat it without the dip after paying $60. Also the lollipops were over done and felt really dry. Don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again.

worst feeling of soup . soaking oily plate into water . lollipops was cold just from freez .don’t waste your money and time to eat those garbage. i admire fried rice was good . but not the hakka quality. i don’t know why people just used the name when they don’t know what it mean for ???

If you want a good Chinese taste late at night this can be your spot. With good quantity, better prices and a good taste. This place mimics the street food culture of the subcontinent. A late night snack shack.

We recently dined at here, which was the only option available after 11pm in the area. The restaurant was relatively empty during our visit, which was a positive aspect. The service staff were friendly and accommodating. While the food was not the greatest, it may have simply been due to personal taste preferences and the specific dishes we ordered. The restaurant has room for improvement in terms of decor, and it might be advantageous to limit their menu offerings to a few signature dishes in order to stand out and differentiate from other establishments. Overall, this restaurant has potential, but could benefit from some refinements.
