Algreen Products

I'm in the UK. I bought a Cascata rainwater barrel about 10 years ago. The brass tap has always been dodgy: the UK distributor (no longer in business) did warn me that the tap was 'mainly for decoration' and that it was best to use the hose. Apart from that, it has been fine until recently, when the hose split. I've tried emailing and phoning Algreen's head office in Cambridge, Ontario, but never get a response or to speak to a human. The company's website lists the replacement part kit that I need, but the online order form just repeatedly tells me that I have entered my address incorrectly (which I haven't). My Cascata is unusable at the moment. Is Algreen Products still trading, or has it gone out of business? If the company is now defunct, does anybody have any suggestions as to where I can get a replacement hose kit please?

I have ordered a rain barrel in May. It was shipped with parts missing. The 3rd party that I ordered from and myself have been trying to get ahold of Algreen, calls and emails, for over a month with no response back.Highly suggest taking your money elsewhere.

The Madison rain barrel is the perfect size and style for our patio area. Shipping was quick, it arrived in time for our son's wedding in our back yard on June. Quality product.

Ten years ago I purchased a Cascata rain barrel, and it has been a joy. We had an unusually cold winter (below zero temperatures for quite a few days) in central Kentucky in 2023. The hose had several cracks when spring arrived causing all the early spring rain water to leak out. I was able to order replacement parts online which came with excellent instructions, and I replaced the hose myself (79 years old)! Your products and customer service are outstanding. ABSOLUTELY T H E WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have 14 of their products. One is rusting; sent email; no response in 7 months. Recently bought three more planters costing over $500 USD (to match); one came broken; left multiple voice mails; no response, sent email; no response.

Great company with old fashioned customer service. Went above and beyond to track down parts I needed for a purchase from 5 years ago. While they weren't able to find the parts, the service and care I experienced gave me confidence to make another purchase to replace the item I had which frankly just wore out due to weather exposure.
