Wallaceburg Inn

Room was very clean and smelled fresh, no musty, stale, or chemical smells at all. Just clean. We stayed in room 214. King Bed was extra comfortable and sheets are clean and nice. Air conditioning was working great. Seemed recently remodeled. Nothing fancy but great value for the cost we paid. Glad we did not listen to bad reviews that seem unjust. Only down side to stop 5 stars was no elevators to bring up luggage. But was no big deal after that to walk up and down. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Would stay here again.

Clean, friendly, breakfast included which was all great. Came in late and they still helped me get a room. The room isn’t super modern but was still nice.Only complaint is I was charged 150 in total for a room but could have booked in online for 120+hst.

The room are not very clean and stains on bed clothes

Unfriendly and unprofessional, overpriced and overrated.Sheets had stains and rude to guests.Worst hotel I have ever lived at for 5 months.Location wasn't bad it was actually nice.

The staff was super helpful getting my group all taken care of. The rooms were all cozy and clean making it a little refuge while on the road during a tragic time. Better than many rooms I've stayed in and at a better price tag.

Nothing special. Beds are comfortable rooms are small. The hall way is dirty and the old carpet is off putting. Front desk the man I spoke to one the phone and checked in with has a trouble understanding English. Only motel/hotel in town so no competition doesn’t help. Overall if your able to drive to ether Chatham to the south or Sarnia to the north I would highly recommend it.

1. During the check-in they upcharged us by $280, and when we brought it up, the female staff kept attempting to convince us our math was off (she’s got an old school calculator with no POS system, which happens). Several people had to speak to her and explain the charges in great details before she refunded us the amount. Still unsure if the refund was processed hence unsure if the upcharge was unintentional.Also FYI: the extra fees for pets are not mentioned on the website - it was $20/night/pet. The upcharge was a mathematical mistake aside from this.2. A/C in one of the rooms was not functional, and the temp outside was in high 20s-low 30s. When we requested someone to have a look, the male staff unplugged & replugged the unit, tried to convince us it was working, then told us they have low vacancy for the type of room we had.Several people once again had to speak to multiple staff before they offered us a fan (had to ask), then a different room. We packed & unpacked our 4-day worth of luggage as this was noted hours after check-in.3. Different sizes of stains noted on beddings immediately upon entering the new room. The duvet had a stain about a square foot large.4. Bed was very comfortable; bathroom, fridge and TV were perfectly functional. Furniture appeared to be in good shape.After all these being noted within the first hours, we did not bother checking out their breakfast so I cannot rate it. I wish I could say “nothing special” but our stay was objectively strange in many bad ways. Luckily all we did there was sleeping strictly between top & cover sheets; hopefully see you never!
