I don't recommend this company anymore. Unless you want to give money away, don't call them. We have had issues with our hot water tank install for two years now, three times we had to pay a dispatch fee... for nothing being done. Now, a fourth.. and yet still have to pay said fee and no work done. Why pay a company to do the work ourselves, and have nothing resolved. Poor quality of customer service. And higher fees and prices.. for poorer work

Our boiler manifold recently sprung a leak int he middle of the night in our mechanical room. Luckily my husband heard the pipe hissing when he was just about to walk out the door for work. Called Border and left a voicemail got a text right away, set up a time for a tech to come out. showed up suggested what to do and other options for being more budget conscious. i ended up replacing the full manifold instead of patching for peace of mind!I little expensive but what plumbing problem isnt? well worth it for the professionalism and honesty and up front charges no hidden costs!

I use border for my furnace and AC maintenance and they have always been very good. Recently I won the gift of heat contest from them and received a new furnace, free of charge. Install took less than a full workday and they were very professional, clean and considerate. 10/10 would recommend

STAY AWAY!!! This is the least professional company i have had the displeasure of interacting with. We had an outdoor tap that leaked into the basement every time we used it. Border came out, decided we were wrong and that tap was not the problem and charged us $200 for that. Roll forward to spring when we use the tap again, and low and behold our basement floods AGAIN. We asked them to come back and they refused without another $100. FOR WHAT!?! So far they had done nothing and then when we tried to reason with a second person he suggested someone took a sledge hammer to it over the winter and it couldn't possibly be the same problem, so pay or we won't come. You know what? Don't bother. Again, take my advice and steer clear of this company.

From my initial online request to the in home repair the process was quick, efficient and professional. Matt trouble shot with me over the phone prior to dispatching service in an effort to save money. Once the technicians arrived they were friendly and informative throughout the whole process. They were able to complete a task left by a previous hvac company and get my AC up and running prior to the heat of summer. I would highly recommend for fast, friendly, professional and value added services.

Do not use Border Plumbing, Heating & Electrical.From the second I called them I knew I was going to be leaking money.$100.00 take make a trip out to my home, not the end of the world.After that they have you authorize up to 3 hours to diagnose an issue if it's not immediately evident. For that service they charge $325.00. My technician was kind enough to take only two hours on site so my total for the visit that I waited a week and half for was $350.00 with taxes.All of this was to say that there was a leak, and all my refrigerant had run out of the unit. Due to it being an outdated R22 unit, they refused to fill or patch it. I thought, fair enough... where do I go from here?They then recommend a consult call to replace my system, starting at $6,000.00 for the lower end and going up from there.LUCKILY, I got a second a opinion. Within an hour of service the second technician diagnosed the issue as a blockage, cleared it, and left within two hours. It cost me $150.00 all in to have the job done right.There was NO LEAK, at all. My unit was full of refrigerant despite being told I had lost 4lbs.My recommendation would be for no one to ever use this company. They instilled such dread in me and even charged me $350.00 for it. Cannot recommend staying away from Border Plumbing, Heating & Electrical enough.Tech was nice though. Best of luck with finding the help you need! Just look elsewhere.

From our first visit with Denver who gave us different estimates and thurough explanations with no pressure sales attached, to the seamless replacement of our furnace, a/c system and new venting performed by Luke and Julius who were polite, professional and very knowledgeable. Once they were finished at the time they said they would be, Luke took the time to explain how everything worked and made sure he answered all our questions. Once they cleaned up and left Lyle pulled in and replaced our hot water tank. Thanks to all of you for doing a wonderful job and charging us exactly what you quoted , Luke.

They charged me for a call out when I could not could not get hot water. I was asked to contact them by my company to see if they would forgo the fee. During the conversation the manager was talking down to me and talking over me. I had said three times during the conversation not to worry about it and he continued to talk over me. Saying he would send a video of the tech testing the tank and tried to get the tech in the conversation. During the visit the tech probably should have communicated these thing more clearly....but that being said I think they should take the time to listen to a customer not talk over top of them. You should not walk away from a conversation being made to feel stupid...I had stated several times I knew nothing about these things and was not looking to be educated on them. In the end when for the fourth time I said don't worry about it I will get my head office to pay the invoice he finally dropped it. Communication is a big part of good customer service.
