My wife and I would travel to Oshawa to eat at Chuck’s. We have eaten at this Peterborough location several times and each time disappointed. We keep saying we will not come back but we do hoping it will be better.The first time we came our daughter got a fillet. She wouldn’t eat it saying she didn’t like it. Turns out it was bad. They argued with us. I am trained in meet cutting and shared that with them but it didn’t matter.Next visit our steaks were well done when we asked for rare.Next visit we came with another couple who had not eaten at Chucks. Let’s just say they will never again. Half of his steak was missing and it took forever to get our meal. Once again waiter was ignorant.Next visit we stuck to hamburgers . We didn’t get silverware or napkins.Our current visit was burgers once again.Service was very slow and our order was wrong. Service was slow and they forgot to give us what we ordered.Don’t frustrate yourself eat somewhere else.

I delivered my baby yesterday at PRHC. Ended up needing a c section and was starving when all was said and done. I asked hubby to run over and order me a bacon cheeseburger from Chuck’s Roadhouse as our last experience was pretty decent. Hubs came back with the burger and said ‘the lady who took my order was pretty rude. Like she didn’t like to do take out or something.’ We shrugged it off and I started eating. Found out that none of the burger toppings I asked for were put on this burger…. I thought ya the staff must have been having a bad day and didn’t write down the order. Until I got to the middle of the burger and it was completely raw. We will never go back again. To be treated so rudely and to have such poor quality food is unacceptable. Never again.

Food was great but service was horrible. Every visit to our table by our waiter was accompanied by an excuse. Waited 20 minutes for our bill and only got it when I threatened to walk out. Our waiter didn't know appetizers should come out before the meal, even though I asked for it to start...

Very disappointed. Everyone in our group got their dinner within a reasonable time. Mine was at least 25 minutes later. Burger was decent. Fries were cold and mushy. Server unwilling to offer any explanation for the long delay. Clearly the server needs more training and more servers needed.

Party of 5 Father’s Day supper very busy. We waited an hour and half for our dinner then there was no cutlery. Wow, they said they were washing it. You would have thought they would have kept our food warm while they washed it. By the time we got it food was cold, but don’t think hot or cold it would have been good lobster tails were dried out. Sure not a experience I want to repeat.

Humble opinion? I guess it's what you pay for. Overall food quality was okay. Then again, the price is low so kinda evens out. For the budget conscious people, I can understand the draw, however for a few dollars more I personally prefer a better quality meal.Service was attentive. Good for families.

Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill
Very slow service (waited 20 minutes for a drink) and the food was below average at best. The beef in the roast beef sandwich was pretty much inedible, chewy with chunky 'gristle' running through most of it and the 'jus' was a bowl of grease. The kids didn't even like the grilled cheese as the bread was thick, cardboard-like and bland. Would steer clear of this location.

First time here. Looks like an awesome place to catch a game or after the many sports teams in the area but awesome atmosphere, the service was excellent, and food, for the most part was great. Big potions, and fresh, with the exception of our kids meal spaghetti, it was a bit undercooked, but management fixed that for us on our bill and we had a good time. Please do yourself a favour and stop in for some sports themed meals.
