I attend a presentation - Rent to Own is a Scam with Terry Hepditch, where he explained how Rent to own really works. At first, I ignored the whole concept because I was not interested in Rent to Own. But, as he started to explain how people with bad credit, low downpayment can get a house today and buy it in the future, with equity built-in, rather than waiting 5, 10 and 15 years to save their downpayment, I was hooked. Then he explained that HOS has already completed over 1000 Rent to Own programs over the past 16 years. In my opinion, Rent to Own is by far, the most effective way to own a house today. I highly recommend HOS.
