Absolutely terrible experience trying to get an invoice for insurance purposes. Unacceptable for a medical clinic to not provide a proper and clear receipt and after attempting to ask them for a written one, they are so unwilling to help and rude over the phone. They claim to help women in need afford contraception, but refuse to help those women receive the insurance coverage they are entitled to for that contraception. So hypocritical!!I had to battle for a sloppy invoice that was still missing the information needed for insurance purposes. I've now sent an e-mail which has been ignored. Completely unprofessional. DO NOT GET AN IUD here if you are hoping to have it covered by Sunlife, the clinic will NOT provide a suitable invoice.

VERY UNHELPFUL. THEY DO NOT ACCEPT WALKINS. Said so on Google they take walk ins. Then I payed 15$ for an Uber to get there to get support. Then they directed me to the dollar store to get a pregnancy test. Like you think I didn't already think of that ??? Jesus.I came here for support.. so apparently ottawa will hand out FREE ABORTIONS BUT NOT FREE PREGNANCY TESTS. Real nice. I also called the day before 3 times and they didn't pick up the phone. This place is awful.

have never had a bad experience here. the staff make you feel 100% comfortable. it requires a bit of patience to book an appointment on the phone (10-20 minutes on hold), but it’s worth it to book one ahead of time! walk-in wait times can be long. the tucked away location is great for if you’re feeling insecure about going in.

Best IUD Insertion Service in Ottawa, Really Friendly Staff! This is one of the very few places in the city of Ottawa that you can easily book an appointment for IUD insertion. If you need, the IUD can be provided free of charge. I had the option to have the IUD inserted on the same day as the initial consultation, but since I have a drug plan I opted to come back for insertion. The doctor who performed the procedure was very informative and reassuring. First of all a questionnaire was presented to me with all the possible side effects or potential issues with this procedure; then a pregnancy dip test was conducted. On every step before she actually performed anything, she explained to me ahead, like I will now touch your thigh"

Had to drop by when my gyno was on vacay for an IUD issue. Staff are very friendly. They actually listen to you. Wait time was less than going to my gyno, even though my gyno gives appts and the clinic is a drop in. They play movies in the wait room so the time passes quickly too. And they tell you how long it will be. Can't say enough great things about them.

The staff here are the best! So friendly, non-judgemental, and knowledgeable. They really made me feel at ease and were great to talk to. I wish the doctor who helped me could be my family doctor. The clinic itself is nice and the wait time wasn't too bad either. I also really appreciate how inclusive it is when asking about gender.

Communication can be improved. I checked the website to see if I was able to book an appt for birth control. No where does it say they are no taking on new patients. I call and book a screening , I'm informed there is an 8 week wait. A week later I do the phone interview screening and make an appt to go in in 2 weeks (this woman was wonderful to speak to, btw). I get a call the following day from someone else saying that they are not taking on new patients, says the other woman was misinformed and canceled my appt.

There is no shame in getting tested for STIs, and this clinic really makes you feel at ease. Booking an appointment was very easy. The waiting time was short - less than 10 minutes. It's actually easier and quicker to come here than it is to see my family doctor. The staff is extremely friendly, open, supportive, and non-judgmental. The facility is very clean, and they have WiFi to make your wait a little less stressful. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic.

Easy check in but one staff member was incredibly rude. She is a bigger brown hair lady working today. I had tried twice to ask her a question while waiting for my appointment and she pretended like she couldn’t hear me and walked away from me twice. Her colleague on the other hand seemed to hear me fine. Incredibly rude and unprofessional.
