Healing Touch Massage Therapy

I spoke with Mayela over the phone and explained that I had received shoulder replacement surgery the previous week and wasn't sleeping. I asked if she could give me a head, leg and foot massage for relaxation. She said she could and to come 5 minutes before my appointment time to fill out a form. I came about 7 minutes early by my cell phone. Mayela filled out the form on her tablet, which took 12 minutes. She gave me the worst massage I have ever had. She had no idea what she was doing with my head, my foot massage lasted 30 seconds on each foot, the leg massage was very cursory. All this lasted slightly over 20 minutes. When I told her this she said that usually the form is filled out on line prior to coming, but since we did it in person it was part of the therapy time. But she had never indicated to me that it was an option to fill it out on line. So not only was it the worst massage, I was ripped of for time. Do not go to this person, there are so many better choices in the neighbourhood.

Mayela is kind, courteous, and wondrously capable doing deep tissue massage. She finds spots that hurt and digs deep to fix them. I have a lot of tension in my neck and pain from an old weightlifting injury that every now and then provokes a bad headache. An hour of deep tissue massage every few weeks or a month is better than pills for preventing the buildup of tension and resulting headaches.
