Dobson’s has provided excellent customer service and some of the best paint products in the market. The staff have been very knowledgeable and helpful in providing me and my clients with the best advice. As a professional painter and business owner in the Cowichan Valley I believe this one of the best places to go for paint. Thank you very much to all of the wonderful staff at Dobson’s.

Poor service 9th Jan 2021.One person, attending a customer. We looked at paint swatches then turned towards her. She took some swatches from right beside us and gave them to this customer. Never acknowledged our presence or said I'll be with you in a moment" and then started serving the woman who came into the store well after us.We left. Won't be back."

Awesome customers service as well as excellent product selection. Their deck stains have to be the best. Always enjoy phoning the store for helpful advice and or to see if they have a product in stock. Thumbs up! ;)

I was really surprised to find a retail outlet that doesn't answer their phone during business hours. Tried 3 different times of day on 2 different days then gave up. I don't need to give my business to a company that can't be bothered to answer their phone so I can order and save me a trip.After the third attempt, I called the Benjamin Moore store in Nanaimo and got a friendly helpful salesperson. She answered my questions, asked me questions and is ordering what I need. Since I drive up that way regularly I will be giving them my business.

great family owned business! Awesome staff, designer colour advice, the best product knowledge. Summers are always busy in home improvement stores so a little patience goes along way!

Incompetent. Business hours listed on Google state open till 5pm on Saturday. Alas they were closed at 430pm. Foolishness.

I have been to this store a couple of times during the process of renovating our basement suite and had such positive experiences both times. The staff, especially Katie, were super knowledgeable and answered my 1 million questions - while managing to keep no one waiting long.I highly recommend this place!
