California Sandwiches
The sandwiches are OK. Sandwiches are usually soggy so I asked for little sauce but notes were not followed. The veal was chewy. The staff isn't friendly. California sandwiches used to be good, one of my faves but not anymore.

The sandwiches were delicious. However, once we ordered someone came out to the cashier to show her how to enter extra sauce on the side correctly instead of working on our food. As a result the dummy from the kitchen gave us a veal sandwich instead of an eggplant which was for a vegetarian. This person's priorities were upside down.

This place, like all other Cali Sandwich locations is AWESOME! Prices are cheap (&8.50) but you have to pay for your toppings ($.50 - $1.00) which makes your sandwich more expensive than a combo from any other burger place in the country. You don't get a side with it so you only leave with a burger and the feeling that you will still be hungry. BUT, then you eat the sandwich and are thankful that there was no side because its the best sandwich you've had in some time and sometimes just finishing it is enough of a challenge. Staff here are great, they worked even when there was a power grid failure. They used their gas stove and cell phone lights to keep the business going and based on how many people are always there, they plow through the lines pretty fast.

California Sandwiches catered our twins birthday with 50+ guests, and they did a fantastic job - the veal and chicken sandwiches were incredible as expected, and their lasagna was exceptional. Thanks for helping us make the event a success - I will not hesitate to use them for future events.

Owners/management need to remind their employees that playing with their hair/ponytails near food prep area and then packaging the food without washing hands after running hands through hair - is disgusting and optics are not good.Sandwiches are always reliably good. You know what you’re getting. Fresh & tasty.

Gave the person Infront of me in line my sandwich by accident… The customer opened the sandwich took it out and realized it was wrong, so returned it to the kitchen. The woman rewrapped that already opened and touched sandwich and gave it to me. Disgusting service especially for a 17$ sandwich.

Sandwiches are sometimes good, but most of the time the buns are tough and chewy, almost impossible to take a bite without the guts squishing out or cut with a plastic knife.Also, no breezeway means when the door opens cold air blows in while you are seated.

Had a mini sandwich of sauteed veggies with additional eggplant slice and hot peppers.(sauteed vegetables consisted of sweet peppers, onions, mushrooms, zucchini).It had a warm sauce and was good to see the bread was fresh (i.e. not dried out).The veggies are cut in large pieces - made it difficult to eat the sandwich. Needed a fork to cut these into smaller pieces.Thanks to the lady behind the counter (she was busy preparing some take out orders) - she suggested some options that helped me decide what to order.They had run out of fries at the time of my visit and hence 4*.Bring your appetite, highly recommend!

The food is always incredible, but the staff takes the cake here. They are extremely sweet and friendly. One of my go to places.
