It’s easy, you bring your scrap metal in and get paid enough to fix the flat tire(s) that you get from going into AIMS yard. That’s recycling cash at its best. Better to drop your metal off at the tire shop. At least you won’t waste a half day at the tire shop fixing flats.

Gary will screw you out of your money with the magnet trick" on stainless steel (saying that it's not stainless because it attracts a magnet). That's bullshit. Ferritic and martensitic stainless steels attract a magnet

Brought in a sail boat keel which I knew was cast iron, guys in the yard suspected it to be full of concrete. Spoke to Tyler (manager) and he had them cut it. It was cast and they paid me. Great service thanks.

You can get underpaid, be careful! I brought #1 copper and got paid for #2. Make sure they weight every metal separately and they don't do it without you!! My metal was priced while i was unloading and i saw brass was weighted in the same bin with radiators. Radiator 0.6$ lb, Brass 1.6$ lb.

Got totally ripped off when I brought in a catalytic converter, they clearly had no knowledge whatsoever about the part and what it was worth so they gave me the minimum amount where other yards quoted me 3x the $$$ and their yard is full on scraps all over the place and you will probably get a flat tire as I did right after I left their yard

They have a price list which they don't follow. I got ripped off here. I only went here because Palmar scrap yard was closed that day. I lost alot of money here. Make sure you know the going price of the metals you bring or AIM recycling will take advantage of you and place everything under one category and give you the lowest price.
