Avg cupe member makes $28.60h, only works max 35h a week. Only works 40 weeks out of the year. And they cry it's not enough... How about they work full days and every week of the year like every other Canadian, and they will make the $19,400 extra they want. Get over yourself. And yes some do deserve more just as much as other deserve much less.

You have right to ask for more, but you don't have the right to take away student's right to go to school!!By law kids under 12 cannot stay home alone, then Student's right to go to school should also be protected by Law!!!

Public Sector workers, Please realise the the private sector who pay your wages, only have so much to give. Just read a CBC news article and the girl they were interviewing was wearing a Prada purse.... Private sector unions I have no problem with as if they bid up the prices of the goods and services I can go else where. Public servants holds the very same people who pay their wages hostage and we have no choices. I think its time to ban public sector unions.

I am proud to stand with my union in solidarity.Years ago, you fought against Bill 115, and won.You fought against Bill 28, and won.You fought against Bill 124, and won.I hope that this will serve as a learning opportunity for future governments of Ontario. When you try to legislate wage-suppression well below the rate of inflation, stripping the Charter-protected right of collective bargaining upon the workers you once called heroes......that eventually, you will find yourselves on the wrong side of history.

Thank you for standing up for my kids by supporting a well funded public education system that includes education workers getting paid a liveable wage and being treated with dignity. Stay strong and keep fighting against the greedy, corrupt, morally bankrupt Ford government that just trampled over our charter rights.
