Meyerhofer Academy Of Dancing

As someone who danced in Burlington all my childhood I was worried about finding a good studio in Cambridge for my daughter when she was ready to start dancing herself. I looked at quite a few options, but when I walked through the door at Meyerhofer I knew I was in the right place. The studio is smaller, but the atmosphere is welcoming and family oriented. The teachers are very knowledgable, encouraging and kind and are lead by Ms. Lisa who is professional and inspirational. My daughter has now danced at Meyerhofer for five years and I can't picture her any where else.

So far Meyerhofer has been a really good experience. My daughter started at 2.5 years in the preprimary ballet class. Miss Lisa and her older student assistants were so very great with all the children. There were many tears in the beginning of the season as all the little tots were learning how to be away from their parents. I was even invited to join the class for the first 4 weeks while my daughter adjusted. By the end of the season my daughter couldn’t wait to get in the studio to dance and see miss Lisa and the older student assistants who she absolutely adored. My daughter loves to show me all the things she learned in class when she got home. I believe they are a smaller dance studio but very close with each other. There are 4 studios but only two that parents can view through the door, which I’m not a fan because I like the option of being able to watch my daughter easily. Sometimes I find them to be a little unorganized in keeping parents up to date as I prefer to have thing planned way in advance. Otherwise it’s a great studio and my daughter really enjoys it there and I really enjoyed the end of year recital at the Dunfeild Theatre. Now I have my daughter signed up for her 2nd year of primary ballet and jazz class.
