Melissa did my hair for my wedding, and she was AMAZING! I had a vague idea of what I wanted, and she helped me figure out what exactly it was that would make me feel the most beautiful on my wedding day! She even suggested doing real flowers in my hair, and it was so beautiful. I got so many compliments on my hair, not to mention the glowing reviews my bridesmaids and family gave her for her friendliness and professionalism! Getting ready on your wedding day can be incredibly stressful, but Melissa put all my worries at ease. From the initial phone call where I inquired about her services, to the moment she left on our wedding day, Melissa made sure that I was nothing less than thrilled with everything. I love the new location - Blown Away Hair has an amazing staff, and the atmosphere is upbeat and fun, and this a great place to pamper yourself. Melissa is simply amazing!! She always make me feel as good as she makes me look! I have been going to Melissa for many years, and I have never had a bad experience - she knows exactly what I want and need, and is always on top of the latest styles and techniques to keep my hair looking healthy, shiny and beautiful. Melissa is such a kind and talented stylist, and I am forever grateful to her! She styled my and my sister's hair for my wedding. I had 2 different stylists cancel on me, the second one cancelled less than 2 weeks beforehand! I was in a total bind and very stressed out. I was given Melissa's contact information from another stylist who was unavailable. Melissa responded to my email very promptly and graciously offered to help me out, even though her salon is generally closed on Sundays! She did such an amazing job! I have a shoulder-length slightly inverted bob, and she made it look like I had a lot more hair than I do all twisted up in the most beautiful and romantic up-do. I felt extremely beautiful! And my hair stayed perfectly in place despite all the dancing! My sister loved her style as well (last picture)! Thank you again, Melissa!

Made an appointment in advance for a trim.She seemed confused that I just wanted a trim to fix my bangs and bulk when I came in.She said okay, let's go get you shampooed and rinsed.I have never been able to use shampoos due to sensory and sensitivity issues at salons so I asked if we could skip the shampoo and just do a rinse.She was shocked and started arguing with me. She showed me the catalogue for the shampoo saying it was made with natural ingredients.I said that's great I believe you but I prefer not having product in my hair from salons. I just need a rinse and a trim.She then said she's not the right stylist for me and she didn't want to touch my dirty hair.Then she said she only does old lady's hair. I will never go back and very disappointed I wasted my time going here. I never had this issue at other places asking to skip the shampoo. I felt very judged the second I walked in. My hair is NOT dirty and unmanageable. This was a horrible experience.
